I would venture to say it is better than the bed at the Westin where we usually stay while traveling. The room has laundry - that's something I did not expect. A private washer and dryer tucked in a closet near the kitchenette. Pretty cool. Nice granite counter tops and stainless steel full size fridge. Full set of silver wear; including set of cooking knifes. Dish set and wine glasses all in their proper places throughout the kitchen cabinets. Again, didn't expect any of that and it came very handy. Great sofa set with love set. 2 Toshiba LCDs - one in bedroom and the other in the living room. Great private balcony with wicker furniture set - a table and 4 chairs with great view of the lake. In summary, Will be back!

We stayed in the honeymoon suite, I believe (no, no announcements, it was super cheap with a government rate!) which had a jacuzzi tub in it, as well as a mini fridge and some very reasonably priced local wine! I had picked up a bottle of Desert Hill's Cactus White at a private liquor store in Oliver for $19 and the same bottle was $21 in the hotel! Next time I may just drink their bottle. They have a little cafeteria area where you can get juice and tea and coffee at any time, which was great when we wanted to pick up a nice decaf after dinner! Boyfriend also ended up grabbing some cereal because it was there and ready for the complimentary breakfast the next morning! The breakfast was actually pretty great, with waffle makers, toast, cereal, scrambled and boiled eggs, and sausages! There was also fruit and juice, tea and coffee. Super awesome! We grabbed some quickly before heading to the boat but I could have stayed there for a while!! The room was clean and comfortable, the bed huge, and the TV channels excellent. The jacuzzi was a nice way to relax after a long day, and we also visited the pool and hot tub downstairs which are covered and the room is decorated with a nice mural. The jets weren't working when we arrived so I asked a staff member to help - she was amazing and hilarious, telling me it was probably the breaker. She quickly fixed it and merrily went on her way. Excellent service is what really takes this place over the edge - as a hotel it's not over the top special, but the service is truly great, and the little extras made it well worth a return visit.
