Stayed here a couple of times over the years. Great hosts and very quiet location. Close to hiking and good stargazing out by the pool!

A great location for hiking. Breakfasts are outstanding. The rooms are large and very reasonably priced. I reccommend it heartily

Tanque Verde Guest Ranch - Our, very cozy room; loved the wood-burning fireplace. They even came to our room to help get it started!

Nice place with fun activities and a few quirks. My favorite was the Saturday cookout. It wasnt…read morebest steak ever but was good and really enjoyed the live music and outside venue. Went here for a family reunion and everyone had a blast. We had a big group with kids and teens up to grandparents. I loved the rooms and furnishing. Bed and chairs all super comfy and sturdy. The activities were all fun and the folks running the activities really seemed happy and helpful. One caveat is some guests seemed to have unrealistic expectations of the activities and their abilities. For instance a lot of people didn't qualify for the lope ride and probably shouldnt have qualified for safety reasons but still seemed upset about it. My kids were too old for the kids club but the kids who were in that program looked to be having an awesome time! It is great to have that option on a place like this. Couple things they could improve on: The online activity signup clunky to the point of barely functional. Everyone, even small kids had to create separate accounts -- i even called to confirm this and was told to reuse emails and phone numbers. A 9 year old doesn't need their own account. One member of our group just gave up on signup and showed up for events. Also you need to have everything signed up for by 8 pm the night before but there is no easy way to cancel and no penalty for not showing up -- so when activities start there is usually space but you have to wait until the no shows don't show. Bathrooms in some rooms were quite small. The toilet in my sisters room i think was built for a child. The food included with the rooms was good but not great. The al a carte menu was better but quite pricey. Also service in restaurant seemed good not great. We would have to flag down a waitress and several times they would say no problem and scurry off to fulfill our request, when others at the table also had requests. Also some of the staff could use some more training. They are clearly reaching for a luxury travel experience but check in, communication and questions seemed to lead to different answers from different people. For instance when the folks before us were checking in they were asked what time they wanted to come to breakfast, while we were told to call 1 hour before coming down -- frankly i dont really want to do either and would like to just show up for the breakfast thats included in price. The staff was all very nice but a bit more training and organization is needed. But none of the issues really affected our trip and as a whole great time and I would definitely return.

There are a wide assortment of rooms. Last time we had a nice Casita. This time we were in a smaller room, but it still had a wood-burning fireplace, which was so cozy on chilling evenings, The property is beautiful, the trail rides are wonderful and the desert landscape is stunning. It is such a treat to be around and ride the horses. We also went on great walks, hikes. They also have tons of activities I'd like to try next time, like pickleball, tennis, archery, fishing, etc. The pool area and Jacuzzi is so relaxing and beautiful. My husband loved the saloon, and it was a fun watering hole for happy hour. I was doing Dry January, and the bartender made me a tasty mocktail, and we met some nice people. The food was very good. We were there for Friday prime rib night, which was awesome, and loved the salad and soup bar. Looking forward to our next trip and hope to bring more family or friends next time!

If your looking to have a great place to start your long accent the Jeremiah Inn is the place to stay. Location, location, location! Not only that... but Beth is superb. We arrived after 9:00 PM and she was awaiting us. We planned an earlier start than the usual Breakfast time but Beth made sure we had fresh fruit, juice, coffee, eggs and muffins to properly fuel up before the ride. Beth came outside before we left and took our picture on her camera and then sent us the picture and personal note in the mail the next week. Nice touch. To top it all off Beth allowed us to leave our truck at her place and then return for a shower after 3:00 PM. It was 104 degrees by that time. That was the icing on the cake when we figured we would just be cleaning up for the drive back to Phoenix with a few handi-wipes. Our trip could not have been made and better. Perhaps only to have had time to sit and converse with Beth. What a delightful Lady she is. The Inn itself is quiet in it's surroundings, beautifully appointed and spotless. The beds are quite comfortable. I would return again even if not tied to a cycling event. Thanks again Beth for making what was a challenging physical day such a great overall experience.

My boyfriend and I wanted to visit Saguaro National Park for our vacation, so he scoured the area…read morefor any vegan hotels and he pleasantly came across a new vegan B&B, Rancho Vegano. While inquiring about the facilities and then leading-up to (and even during) our stay, Colin and Roy's communication was professional, informative and timely every time. Once we arrived, a welcome packet was waiting for us. It outlined the various amenities that were supplied, an explanation of the grounds, a breakfast menu, and their favorite local restaurants that were either vegan or catered heavily to vegans. At one point during the correspondence, my boyfriend mentioned that we would be visiting during his birthday month, and that detail was not missed. Waiting on the dining table was a fresh bouquet of flowers and a birthday card. The rooms were spotless, the shower was amazing and the living space was very comfortable, almost like home. They even supplied some vegan reading material along with information about the local sights. Also, Colin and Roy tried to make Rancho Vegano as environmentally friendly as possible (which I applaud), from the bamboo sheets to the silverware. The only "gripe" we had, was the silverware. While eco responsible, it was a bit flimsy when trying to use and I was worried that I'd break the forks. They acknowledged the feedback and they mentioned that they'll probably switch to metal silverware in the future. Each morning we were entertained by local wildlife as we had our delicious and fluffy blueberry pancakes and a breakfast burrito stuffed with veggies with chipotle sour cream and a side of fruit. Both meals were delicious and kept us full for our day's journeys. There were a few occasions where I got to talk with Roy as he was tending to their grounds. Listening to their backstory and journey to veganism, their passion and dreams for what they want Rancho Vegano to evolve to is quite infectious. I can't wait to see how they expand Rancho Vegano. On our last morning, Colin and Roy invited us to have our breakfast up on their rooftop deck. The view was amazing and was the perfect start for our journey home. They also baked us fresh banana bread for the road, which was thoroughly devoured. Our only regret was not staying there longer, but it gives us an excuse to venture back. Rancho Vegano is slice of paradise in East Tucson and we look forward to our next stay.

MY NEW STAYCATION FAVORITE…read more I enjoyed a house-made breakfast made by Forks Over Knives certified vegan chefs Colin and Roy. They were kind and welcoming. The views are beautiful, and the space is clean. The saltwater pool was spotless and was at the perfect temperature. Nicely sized freezer/fridge, a purified water dispenser, and the comfiest bed. Everything was perfect! I'm excited to visit again.
