This period included a full day session between their team and ours, diving deep into our goals and vision for an end product. Blackstone also committed to researching our industry, national and local competitors and current website analytics. We submitted a list of employees and customers, which they interviewed by phone. My favorite bit of info - third party input from website visitors, sharing what they liked and didn't like on the current website. It confirmed several issues I'd highlighted as the reason we needed to make the investment. A quote for website production was issued after discovery. I had the option to walk away with the information or move forward. Building a website isn't easy and patience is key, but Blackstone bailed down the template and navigation quickly. I was taught how to build content into the pages and set up SEO on Yoast, which is built in to the customized Wordpress site. Before launch I worked closely with the Blackstone team to perform QA tests. We had one day of sitting in a conference room knocking out fixes. When our launch happened, it was seamless. I waited a week to announce it to the company! But, our new site worked from day one. I now work with Blackstone monthly on a retainer agreement. The team continues to produce analytics and suggestions for improvement. Some things I can do, others they quote by the job. They also assist my company with AdWords and website hosting. Blackstone will not be the cheapest option for a website but the end product will certainly show the difference.
