Sidenote: I was recently in an accident. My whole experience, from the ER to all the specialists, was of someone just there to do a job. I almost felt like I was getting in the way by asking questions (and receiving unsatisfying responses). Nobody wants to "take an interest" in you to get to the bottom of it. Dr. Lundstrom has been the only exception. Everyone at the office is super friendly and knowledgeable. Also, they give you all the data! I left the office with a thumb drive of all my x-rays/photos. I like to be able to look at what's going on in closer detail, so that was nice to have automatically. I've had a lot of dentists over the years. A lot of good ones too. Dr. Lundstrom is my favorite. I can tell that he has a curious mind that isn't satisfied without an answer. That's exactly the kind of person I want in my corner, especially when it comes to my health! Dr. Bond is an involved dentist to the point of awkwardness. While I understand that building rapport with a patient is important, I felt uncomfortable with the rather in-depth questions about my dating life/relationship status and career aspirations. I also felt uneasy with the excessive physical contact of my hands (which were sitting in my lap) and face beyond what is required for a dental examination. Additionally, I felt as though I was bullied into a procedure that I didn't fully understand. I would have liked a more detailed description of my options going forward rather than having scare tactics used upon me (example: "If we don't treat this now, you may need surgery later."). I felt pressured to make a decision that instant and chose to start the assessment process same-day. If I hadn't felt this pressure, I would have set up another consultation appointment in the future so I could have had time to contact my insurance about what is and isn't covered. As it turns out, some of the procedures would have been covered if I had only waited a few weeks to be within the 3-yr time between panoramic X-rays, but since I felt pressured to start right away, these procedures were not covered and I was left to pay for those procedures. All in all, I feel that I did not have a great experience with Dr. Bond and will not be returning.

I said I probably would consider if the exam would last at least 15 mins . She said that was not going to happen. The person cleaning my teeth said it was law, and I must. (I researched it - it's not) I had x-rays last fall, never heard how they went, even though I asked. The different professionals cleaning my teeth always said that I have healthy teeth. She did an OK job but left it all jagged and longer than the other teeth, and just felt "messy" ok...another way to make me feel like an umimportant client i guess! I had to go back a 3rd time because of tooth pain after a week. She didn't even want to look at me or talk to me and just told her assistant to refer me to someone else and she like waved me as if she didn't want to deal with me. Update: I will give you a call. I've gone to a different dentist who told me that the tooth she filled is infected. This is unacceptable. Dentists shouldn't be allowed to maim their clients. I'm also going to reach out to the board. I'm furious and still in pain, after 6 months. For her to also charge me an additional 300 to 400 for "emergency service" seems like a scam as well when in reality, all she did was refer me for an extraction due to her shoddy filling, which is still jagged by the way!

When she was drilling son's teeth he tried to close his mouth and in the process he bit her-- and she YELLED at him for "biting her." Reminder, he is THREE YEARS OLD. She apparently didn't have a bite guard like every dentist in the world. When I picked him up out of the chair to get the hell out of there she said the holes NEEDED to be closed. I made a terrible call as a mother to allow this woman to continue working on my child. When he began to cry in ernest, she called him a "SISSY" and threatened my toddler with "If you don't stop crying I will make your mommy leave you alone here." I told him (and her) that I would NOT be leaving him alone with her and to finish to the point where we could safely leave. I tried to comfort my little boy who didn't understand why this woman was hurting him, yelling at him and now threatening him with the most frightening a toddler can imagine-- being abandoned by his mother with a mean stranger. The final straw what at point when she COVERED HIS NOSE AND MOUTH to keep him from crying. I am in shock. I am horrified that I didn't whisk him out of her office when I had him in my arms the first time she yelled.
