The place was disgustingly filthy and old however I stayed for the treatment which was over in 30 minutes! Had to ask the tech to trim and file my nails otherwise she was just putting my sandles back on to paint them. Once painted she used a small hand tri - fold fan to dry them, like seriously?? The nail polishing looked like a 5 year old did it!!!! I immediately left and went to another place in town to have them fixed, they actually took as long to fix them as it did for the whole entire pedicure!! I can't even give them 1/2 of star rating, if anything I'd give it a -10 rating!!! Never ever go to this place!!!

When you go to the hair salon, you set aside time to be a little pampered with getting your hair washed maybe a little good smelling product. I received a quick effective haircut in about 10 to 12 minutes. She offered to curl my hair, which I said wasn't necessary, but she said she had a way to do it quick. So I said OK. The curl was very quick and not the best. I asked for a little layers in the back. And there wasn't very many noticeable ones and I asked for a refresh on my curtain bangs, which she did do. But there's a section that has a hard chop that I'll have to get fixed. For a service that is a base price of $50 I would have expected a little more pampering. So relaxing. There were fresh lemons in my pedicure water. I was also given a warm neck pillow to use. They also provided sandals and toeless socks, since it was cold weather outside. I appreciated all the details. Spacious and pristine salon, and there were privacy curtains too. Lovely atmosphere and experience. Located in a business plaza, there is plenty of free parking.

There was already two other cars waiting and another that pulled up after me. About 10 minutes later the employees got there and unlocked the place. Signed in and waited about an hour as the two employees finished up the other ladies ahead of me. Reasonable for it being busy with only two workers. Nails were kinda messy, and the guy had a lot of trouble getting the acrylic nail tips to stay on my fingers which has never happened at other places (they should get some better glue). They said the next opening was the next Tuesday which was pushing my timeframe because I am going out of town for a few weeks and was hoping to have them last that long. It's been years since I've had my nails done, so I was looking forward to it. When I arrived, I told the woman my name and said I had an appointment for acrylics. There was only a woman and a man working in there - no one else was in the salonn - no customers. The woman said they do not do acrylics, only dip nails. I told her when I called I said acrylics and no one said they didn't do them. The man jumped in, kind of aggressive tone and said they haven't done acrylics in over 5 years. I was not being argumentative at all but I was disappointed because I didn't have time to reschedule with anyone else. She asked me if I wanted to do the dip and I asked "will it last for 3 weeks, I'm going out of town and the last time I had dip it fell off early." She said it would stay on for 3 weeks so I agreed. Then I told her I wanted it to be natural color with a white tip. She said the shellac would be the best for me. I didn't know what a shellac was, I said I wanted the tip to not be too long, she asked me "this long?" and I said yes, and she started working on my nails. She had mumbled something in the middle of working on my nails, I couldn't hear her because she said it so quietly so I didn't reply. I'm wondering now if it was some kind of tactic to say that I agreed to what she was doing. She said something again, and I had to ask her again because I couldn't hear her. she said more loudly "relax" because apparently I was not turning my arm the weird position she wanted it at. I have arthritis in my hands and joints so it was uncomfortable and I said that to her. So while she worked about halfway through I asked her if the tip would be longer. She said in kind of a gruff voice, "I know what you want" She kept working and it ended up basically gel nail polish with a hardener over my nails, no length at all! She charged me $60 for what was done, she did ask if that was ok, but I had no idea what a shellac was supposed to cost, so when I got home I checked online to see what other salons were charging for it. I also checked to see what it was because I didn't have any idea. It says it will only last a couple of weeks! Other places are charging around $30 plus an extra $5 for the white tip. I called to ask her why I was charged so much and she said something about special something underneath. She got argumentative and said I agreed to it which of course is not true because she knew when I started asking questions in the middle of getting them done, that I didn't understand. I just feel taken advantage of and I should have not been charged so much. Won't go back there ever again!
