This showed through in initial consultations, appointment scheduling, telephone communications, referrals for extractions, clear explanations of methods, the gentle carrying-out of procedures, expectations for between-visit care, answering questions and concerns, handling after-hours emergency care, billing, fees and insurance practice, and throughout follow-up treatment. The staff work together as a team and it is clear that they know and respect one another both as colleagues and friends in a workplace that is positive. This is a busy vibrant office, with a small practice feel to it. Dr. DeSimone herself is warm, qualified, likeable, trustworthy, honest, capable, good-humored, energetic, intelligent, detail-oriented and diplomatic. Whether at the reception desk or in back treatment areas, her detailed knowledge of all aspects of her practice show through continually. She personally governs the tone and flow of every patient visit as she seamlessly communicates with both patients and staff to ensure efficiency and a smooth result. She expertly listens, plans, treats, and motivates. Patient areas are comfortable, cheerful, modern, hygienic and welcoming to children, teens, tweens, siblings and adults. Technology and age-appropriate touches are present but not overdone. Treatment scheduling is logical, convenient, flexible and responsive to the needs of students, busy families and adult professionals. The fun incentives, activities and promotions in place always serve to motivate all ages in a fresh, appealing way. I began wearing braces at age 40, with great result after 2 years. Then, in overlapping years our son wore braces and our daughter's teeth were treated though plastic aligners. During this time our whole family got to know Dr. DeSimone's staff by name and came to feel completely "at home" during our many visits. We live in eastern Mercer County, a half hour's drive away, but were intent on choosing Dr. DeSimone's practice above others due to our strong satisfaction with her philosophy and her high level of service and dedication. Our treatment plans were quite varied due to my starting age as an adult, and the differing maturity levels, orthodontic needs and personalities of both children. It was evident that Dr. DeSimone's expert technical ability, years of experience, command of current procedures and advances, successful business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiasm for her profession and understanding of our unique individual temperaments all worked together as she tailored our individualized treatment plans. She offered choices, addressed concerns, allayed fears, finessed slight resistance, and made compromises as needed to see to our well-being. As patients, the children's needs were always addressed on their level but in tandem with input and clear communication with us. No matter what our questions or concerns, we always felt confident in the methodologies, explanations or solutions put forth by Dr. DeSimone and her staff. There was never once any doubt, regret or dissatisfaction. The four of us have been patients of many medical offices, labs, treatment centers and varying specialists in the Tri-State area as part of our family's health and wellness throughout the past 20 years. Dr. De Simone has made remarkable improvements to my son's mouth. When I look at his "before" and "after" pictures, I am amazed at what De. De Simone was able to do. Because of her, his teeth are straight and his smile is amazing. Being so impressed, I too became a patient. Dr. De Simone introduced me to invisalign. Dr. DeSimone took care of my daughter who had Invisalign. Her teeth look beautiful! She took the time to go over things with both of us at the initial appointment, when my daughter was asking for braces, I thought things looked ok and we waited. Dr. DeSimone gently recommended that the timing was right and we needed movement. I did not listen. When I realized she did need braces, my daughter, now 15, was not willing to do the conventional treatment. I appreciate Dr DeSimone who offered options to us, gently guided my daughter and I with a great bedside manner. What an amazing experience we have had for the last few years at DeSimone orthodontics. They are a professional organization, dedicated in every sense of the word. They are extremely organized and current in their practice. They are on time! They make it part of their practice to bring you into their fold and consider the human piece in a service industry which can often feel like a machine. Dr. DeSimone is a fabulous orthodontist with a wonderfully caring staff who take their time to get to know both the patient and the parents. I have had two children under the care of Dr. DeSimone , one of those being with special needs. The staff immediately put him at ease and changed his view of doctors as they diligently handled his teeth and his fears. The plans for my children's mouths have been top notch and I feel complete confidence recommending any family to this practice. PHE-NOM-ENAL!! This was my second go around with braces, the first about 7 years ago and they remembered me, when I called in to do a consultation. I felt so special. All of the ladies are wonderful and Dr. Desimone is awesome. Even though I have moved to Pennsylvania I still travelled to see Dr. Desimone for my second round of braces. Dr. DeSimone has been working on my older daughter now for almost 2 years. She's an excellent orthodontist, and she also cares for her patients. She takes the time to explain everything that she's doing every step of the way. Her staff are truly great & my daughter really enjoys her visits there. This office is so wonderful. Everyone who works there is kind, patient, they explain everything clearly and professionally and they really care. Dr. DeSimone is so knowledgeable and puts everything into understandable language for both patients and parents. They give out DeSimone Dollars for each visit and patients can cash them in for items like water bottles and movie tickets, the office has plenty of magazines and even video games for younger kids.
