I told him that I was looking for a new PCP but hadn't found one yet. I'll never forget him saying: "I can be your PCP", and that was it. I immediately trusted him and appreciated his warm and reassuring manner. He correctly diagnosed 'Conn's Syndrome' as the cause of my high BP, (over 200), brain fog, weakness and loss of appetite. He connected me with a wonderful Endocrinologist, Ginny Bao, MD, who, together with Dr. Hamway, adjusted my RX to finally get my BP down to a safe range, and it has stayed in a safe healthy range now since April 2025. I am very grateful to Dr. Hamway for his quick and accurate diagnosis of 'Conn's Syndrome' and helping me get back to a healthy life.

According to my mother, her last visit at Dr. Chang's office in January 2021 was kind of unusual. My mother mentioned that all Dr. Carsolin-Chang's talked about was why Donald Trump lost the election and how she despised people of color. My mother had painful occurrence with her legs, felt tired, and also had multiple headaches for the past few months. And my mother kept addressing all the symptoms to Dr. Carsolin-Chang even during her previous past visits. Dr. Carsolin-Chang had all just recommended was for my mother to take pain meds, including i.e., Tylenol and Advil. And to change her diet. Also, have recommended to use some infrared light therapy which I thought was bogus. Last week I took my mother to Sutter Health Mills Peninsula...and she's had major health issues that I can't even efffing discuss here. Can't even visit my mother now due to COVID. The emergency wouldn't have happened if my mother wasn't under Dr. Carsolin-Chang's care. So people beware of Dr. Carsolin Chang's incompetence and dangerous misdiagnosis. Dr. Carsolin-Chang is capable of jeopardizing you and your loved ones' healthcare. The CA State Health department should revoke her license and must stop her from practicing medicine.
