If I could give this company more than 5 stars I would. The professionalism, the pricing, the overall outcome of the project...you will not get a better result. I can't thank Jason and his team enough for all the work they did, it looks AMAZING!  The guys were so hard working and professional and we were so impressed with how fast they pulled it all together...and the attention to detail during clean up was ridiculous.  Victor was so thorough raking out the lawn, I think he raked stones out that were there since before we moved in.   If you have an irrigation system already in place, no problem. Jason's brother Dan, irrigation specialist, was also on site to handle any unforeseen issues with root entanglement. He had us all sorted out, added a few new sprinkler heads and even programmed the entire system for us, with no interruption in the schedule! Jason's knowledge and passion for his field was evident right from the consult which is why we chose to go with Green World in the first place and the team that followed did not disappoint.  We will be using Green World for ALL our up coming projects!

Things usually change when there's a new owner so don't be afraid to give them a shot and if they do a good job, write a better review than I did. Okay, back to my review from 2007... --------------------- This review is for Green World's snow plowing services only. Maybe they do better at landscaping, I don't know. But when it comes to snow plowing, I think this is the first 1-star review I've done. Here comes the rant: If you like the idea of coming home from a long weekend to discover that you can't get into your driveway, and that once you get in, your driveway which is normally wide enough for two SUVs or three small cars is now wide enough for only one car, you might like how they plow. If you think that the best place to pile snow is on someone's front steps, then you'd fit right in and maybe they'll hire you. And if you don't like to get mail, you'll love these guys. They have a hard time with the concept of plowing out a mailbox. Or maybe they just didn't try. In any case, we're not getting our mail. The thing is, we've had good plow guys before. We know what they can do if they care. Green World doesn't do that. Okay, if you're a city person then you might not understand. In beautiful New Hampshire, you have to plow the snow away from your mailbox if you want to get mail. The post office doesn't exactly use jeeps, and they have to be able to reach the mailbox from their truck. Now that the snow has melted and frozen in place, we're not getting mail until the spring because that snow that should have been moved out of the way has now turned to ice. Back to the rant. Have any trouble, just call Green World in Hampstead, NH on their toll free number or the local one. Pick the one that works best for you because you're going to a recording. No one is there and no one calls you back. So that's the deal. Snow plowing doesn't seem to be what they're good at. I can't tell you about their other "horticultural services", but you can draw your own conclusions based on the luck we had with plowing. Oh, if they ever call me or try to fix things up, I'll add that to the review. It's the incompetence followed by the silence that really pissed me off. Update 12/29: The owner called and apologized. He says that they're not like that and he's upset with someone who works for him. Okay. If the way I was treated was really unusual, I'm sure there will be other glowing reviews (and not from 1-review, 5-star fake yelpers, either.)

I saw them at another house on our street and asked if he could help us. He told me he would, but had a few more stops to make. He texted me later with his expected ETA, and kept me posted so I didn't worry about him getting to us This time we contacted Nathan again. He did a great job clearing our driveway, parking spaces out front and sidewalks. He is a very nice guy, always responds promptly to texts and makes sure we are satisfied before he leaves. These guys use big commercial mowers without any baggers. They do not use a walk mower with a…read morebagger near the property line so they can cascade the debris off the lawn they are cutting into the neighbors' yards. I get my neighbors chopped weeds, yard debris, sticks, stones, and crushed acorns into my yard. They do not use baggers to save time so they can make a faster bigger profit. I get to clean up their mess for free. Leaves/acorns are down early due to tree stress from a dry summer. Wake up guys - you are losing customers and won't get any new ones when you piss the neighbors off! Note - my neighbor who hires them is an oblivious moron and would not know the difference.

We also had a large patio and firepit installed a few years ago which turned out to be more difficult than planned due to a large amount of concrete underground. This also included a redo of our front yard. The project was still finished on time and still looks wonderful. Last year we had another patio completed and our yard leveled out which gives us another place to sit and enjoy yard games. It also looks great. We found J and R Fine Landscaping to be very responsive on all of our projects including smaller short notice needed yard maintenance projects. Jim Goddard always provided great advice on what we should do and what would look great but he would always work with what we wanted. We also found his estimates and pricing to be very competitive with real value.
