The Galleria mall is continently located across the street. Sadly, I didn't have a chance to visit. The price worked for our budget. Parking was $20 per day...which sucked considering I parked my own vehicle each time! Despite the cost, I will say my vehicle was safe, the lot was well lit and there were no potholes or weirdos lurking. The lobby is beautifully decorated and clean. Some rooms have views down into the lobby - I wish I had that view. Theres complementary cucumber mint water and citrus water available near the front desk. The bar/ dining area is a open concept instead of being sectioned off. The pool/ fitness center is located one floor down. It's quite humid and a little dark. Feels very lonely when no one's around. My Reservation: 2 Double Beds, Junior Suite (room 400) Comfortable and clean. Great natural lighting. Beds are comfortable. I wish the bathroom had a glass shower instead of a thin curtain. Our room was cleaned perfectly. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has a restaurant located in the lobby and Fitness Center and Indoor pool on the lower level. Parking: Ran by Metropolis, it's about $31 for a day with in and out privileges. About $9.99 per 10 hours if you're a visitor. Which is weird because when booking the hotel it says $18 per day on the Marriott app. The front desk agent told me she doesn't know why. You will need to pay as there is a camera that capture your license plate once you enter and exit the gate. Room: Room seemed relatively clean although apparently my sister was bit or had a rash. Complimentary Aquafina waters and a Hamilton Beach coffee/tea maker. You can squeeze 4 adults on the double beds. Quite spacious suite but nothing that has a wow factor. Overall: Great place to stay for a night or two if you're exploring the Galleria mall. My only gripe are the discrepancies in parking prices. Overall, it's a decent suite with a fair rate.

It's an impressive…read moreproperty, essentially a mini city within a hotel, with so much to explore and enjoy during your stay. If you're booking, I highly recommend requesting the Hill Country Tower. The rooms are excellent, and the air conditioning provides perfect white noise that makes for restful, comfortable nights. In contrast, the Vineyard Tower feels dated and not as conducive to relaxation, so it's worth paying attention to tower placement when making reservations. What really sets this resort apart is the staff, restaurant options, and amenities. Throughout every corner of the property, it's evident that the team shares a strong mission and core values. The only call out I have is the pick up/drop off, there was an worker who suggested travelers that had all stayed at the resort for the week should walk with all their luggage very far to a parting lot for me to pick them up, even though there is a line dedicated to pick up/loading- he could use some training. Other than that the level of hospitality and genuine care is exceptional and noticeably different from typical hotel experiences. The combination of the expansive property, quality accommodations in the right tower, and outstanding staff service makes Gaylord Opryland an outstanding choice. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this resort offers an experience unlike anywhere else in the area.

I wish I had gotten her name because she deserves a shoutout. Due to my elite status with Marriott we were able to get an updated room that had a large walk in shower and nicer countertops than what come with a regular room. Our room had a great center atrium view and with a balcony it was perfect for sitting and relaxing. The room was quiet and we heard no one else even though the hotel was at capacity. The beds and pillows were comfortable and I slept great. The room was clean and the AC made no noise whatsoever. We did a scavenger hunt in the Atrium for the kid and she enjoyed it. The best part for me was sitting by the "river" below Zeppole and just listening to the water running. It is so tranquil and peaceful. It's my special place that I go to every time we stay at Gaylord. It was a rainy weekend so we did not use the indoor or outdoor pool, but they are always options. Overall, the Gaylord has come to be one of my favorite hotels in the Dallas metroplex and we will return for sure.

Squeaky clean, better than the photos, and the hosts are very communicative. They have replied within 10 minutes any time we needed something. We booked an AirBnB from a different host prior to staying with Goldnest and it was awful-- broken doors, bugs, mold, etc. Tal was able to get us into one of their rentals within minutes! They saved our lives. I would definitely recommend renting from Goldnest, they seem to have their ducks in a row.

Goldnest was the worst rental experience I've ever had -- and it started with being charged for a…read morereservation I never intended to make. I was messaging Goldnest about a possible discount -- not trying to book -- when my card was charged and the reservation was confirmed. I immediately (within one minute) explained that this was accidental. The host acknowledged it, but only told me to contact Airbnb. Instead of helping, the messages continued like nothing had happened -- asking about my dog, visitors, and cars, and saying they were excited to host me -- while I was clearly saying I had not intended to book and was upset. At one point, the responses felt so scripted I asked if I was even speaking to a real person. I was then directed off Airbnb to complete a separate "boarding pass" through a third-party system. There, I was required to choose between a $79 non-refundable fee or a $450 security deposit. After everything that had already happened, this pushed it over the edge. Airbnb states that pricing includes all fees, so being redirected off-platform and then presented with additional charges felt confusing and not transparent. I ended up calling while sobbing just to have the $79 fee waived and avoid the $450 deposit. After that call, they waived the requirement and moved my check-in to 2 PM, but by that point the experience had already been extremely stressful. By the time I arrived, I still didn't fully understand the check-in process and was messaging from the driveway asking what to do. At first glance, the home looked clean and the decor was nice. However, after pulling back the comforter, I found visible URINE stains. When I went under the sink to get a trash bag, there was also a dead ROACH. That immediately changed how I felt about the entire place. The backyard was another major issue. The grass and weeds were very high (approximately 4-6 inches), and the yard was not usable for my dog. I reported this immediately and was told landscapers were "running behind." They apologized, yet did absolutely nothing. The next morning, the yard was still not done. I followed up again and was told landscapers would come that afternoon. We were leaving the following morning, so it was never resolved in a way that actually improved the stay. Because of this, my dog had to be walked on a leash the entire time instead of using the yard THAT WE PAID FOR. Throughout all of this, the pattern was the same: they acknowledged issues, apologized, and said they understood -- but nothing was resolved in time to actually improve the stay. Urine stains, roaches, weeds, and tall grass were apparently my problem. It's all about rules and policy until Goldnest does not follow through on their end. Airbnb flags this listing in the bottom 10% based on ratings, reviews, and reliability -- and after this experience, that was not surprising. This was stressful, poorly managed, and handled in a way that made an already difficult situation worse. I would never stay here again or recommend Goldnest properties to anyone.

We went here for the first time & the overall experience was not good!…read more At the Texas state fair, we were charged $50, appointment date for the presentation, & were told that we will get our $50 back on the day of presentation. They were all sweet talk & made it sound like it will be a piece of cake to just go, spend 90 mins, & get the gifts at the end for free. On the day of presentation, our sales person was a young 18 y/o Caucasian. Honestly, beside him repeating & asking the same questions over & over again, he was not pushy &/or aggressive. Overall, presentation from the main person was good, funny, short, & involved. Since the offer was not within our budget, we politely told them no. I think from our group only one family signed up. Presentation was supposed to be for 90 mins. Unfortunately, even with our multiple polite reminders it went for almost 2 hrs! Absolutely no respect for what they promised &/or our time &/or concerns! It was ridiculous! Our sales guy was respectful & obedient to our request, but it was the other senior "last negotiator" who didn't care/want to come to our table to close out & took his sweet time. We were then taken to the back room to claim our gifts & there was a wait over there as well as only 1 person was working & was taking their time. After my name was called, I was just handed over a piece of paper without any explanation & another paper to sign that I received all the gifts. This is where you have to be careful & check everything, as I did, because the paper has incorrect number of Six Flags tickets given listed. Promised 4, but only 2 tickets were given & listed. Good thing I checked & brought it up right away even though it should have been listed correctly & I should not have to check anything. I then asked about the cruise & only then were told to see the other paper for all the details & to call the number as listed. It turned out that it was a totally different company, Casablanca Express, that you have to deal with to redeem cruise voucher. I asked about the $50 refundable deposit paid at the fair & was told that it will be reversed back on the same credit card even though we were told at the fair that we will receive it on a credit card on the same day of the presentation. I was then told that I will be receiving the remaining Six Flags tickets in the mail. Of course, that didn't happen! I started to call at the number to inquiry about the remaining Six Flags tickets & nobody would pickup even after trying & leaving messages multiple times. I managed to get their email address & finally someone responded to me on that after few days. I was finally able to get my deposit back & remaining Six Flags tickets. Again, I shouldn't have to do anything & everything should have been already taken care of, as promised, but sadly it didn't happen ;( Dealing with Casablanca Express to redeem cruise voucher was another nightmare I am still going through as of this writing. It was so bad & frustrating that I have to tell them to give all of my deposits back & that I am not interested in redeeming the voucher anymore. I have reviewed that experience, in detail, under their business name. Why GEVC has hired/contract with such a horrible company, Casablanca Express, is beyond my understanding! It is clear that they just want to get people inside their presentation & waste their time & have absolutely no desire to fulfill what they are promising & for people to redeem their gifts without any issues. At the end of the day, I wasted time & gas only to get nothing but a lame 4 Six Flags tickets & that was also only after I did my own unnecessary efforts to get it. On top, the amount of overall frustration, unnecessary stress, inconvenience, etc., are just too much to go through. If without signing up for anything the customer service & the experience were like this, imagine the experience after signing up & after they have your money? Not worth the risk & your time! Again, I do not recommend going for any presentation &/or signing up for anything with this company. You will regret!

The room we stayed in looked outdated, and we had toilet flushing issues right from the first use, which wasn't a great start. The water park itself was enjoyable, and we didn't have any issues there. I do want to give credit to the lifeguard staff... they were very attentive and clearly doing a great job keeping an eye on the kids, which we really appreciated. We ate dinner at Fireside Restaurant and had a good experience there. One tip: don't rely too much on the app waitlist as it showed limited availability, but when we checked with the host in person, we were seated right away with no wait. Breakfast at Timbers Table & Kitchen, however, was a complete letdown. I didn't expect to pay $78 for a buffet breakfast for two adults and two kids, especially when the food wasn't good. The donuts tasted like they had been refrigerated overnight and were barely edible, and even the self-toasted bagels were stale... no amount of toasting helped. If you're reading this, I highly recommend bringing your own food for at least breakfast to save money and avoid disappointment.
