The massage itself was decent, but incomplete for a one-hour service. When it was time to turn over, she skipped massaging my feet, hands, and the front of my legs entirely. Most of the focus was only on my back. The facial was also very underwhelming for a one-hour facial. There were no extractions, no explanation of the products or process, and overall it felt very basic and rushed. What really left a bad impression was at checkout. Despite already tipping $10 -- which I felt was generous considering the incomplete service -- the therapist actually tried to pressure me for an additional $10 tip. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I will not be returning. You get what you pay for‍

I would definitely return. My normal spot is in bay ridge because its 105 for 2 hours same style as here (lavender spa for life-ask for Michael) . Its 85 for 1 hour with essential oil choice at richmond spa formerly ocean wellness. I chose the ginger oil for my muscle tightness and aches. I would definitely return when I dont want to wrestle with parking in bayridge and willing to get an abbreviated version of a massage. They have a punch card and other services available. 5 stars for the massage itself. 3 stars for the customer service e.g. in the beginning they didnt ask preferences or what I want to work on so it was dealers choice. If they had asked I wouldve said I dont like elbows or knuckles used on me ever and I wouldve preferred a bit more for my front legs. They never got to feet which I actually didnt mind. I also wouldve asked for the heated pad to be turned down since I run a bit hot. 5 stars for cleanliness. 5 stars for their availability last minute. I also wouldve liked to know that Id get bumped due to walk ins meaning they'd switch out my masseuse.
