They were both kind and excellent at what they do! We both felt so good after the massage! I wanted a limited massage and Vlad was okay with that. I'll admit I was a little iffy about this spot after reading the mixed reviews on here but it turned out to be really good. My boyfriend and I went there for the couple's massage, which we found on groupon.. but they honor the groupon price so we didn't even need the groupon. We did wait awhile before our massage and there was no one in the front but I'd say the service for the rest of our stay made up for it. The massage therapist I had, Vlad, was very good. He must've read the form that I filled out because he immediately went to my problem areas when he came in. He had just the right amount of pressure and covered everything. So I had a mixed experience here with things I did and didn't like about this place. My service there was exceptional and the staff was great and polite. The massage itself was subpar at best. Good: I called about the Groupon deal for the couples massage and asked about making an appointment and I had made one within 48 hours. The receptionist honored the deal with the Champagne and chocolates and helped me book through them as to be more helpful if I needed to reschedule and offered me their other services in an informed and professional manner. We were massaged by Frank and Chanda who were so nice and courteous. My girlfriend has never had a massage and was nervous and I heard Chanda explain the process and making her more comfortable with it and she was very happy as was I. Frank was very courteous and listened to my cues about places I didn't like to be touched and using pressure when necessary and did some new techniques I've never experienced. Bad: As someone who's had over a dozen massages from spas on vacations as well as the local Massage envy this was just not a good massage. The techniques he used on my neck made me feel decent after but hurt at the time and I felt his fingernails during some parts which DISGUSTS me. My girlfriend having never received a massage before was happy but this is the first time I ever left a spa not feeling refreshed. At some points I felt 0 pressure and others it was entirely too much. I left and my back was still sore as to where that has NEVER happened at any of my other massage appointments domestically or internationally. I bought the deal on groupon and wish I read these reviews and learned that you don't need to buy one on groupon, they'll honor the groupon price. The staff was very warm and welcoming and my masseuse was great. The place itself is small but well decorated and furnished to give you a nice spa feel even though you're in the middle of a strip of stores on Victory. I'll certainly be returning. I got a massage last week with Frank. I rarely write reviews, but even after a week, I can't let this go. The massage with Frank started off fine despite the fact that he does this weird grunt thing. He told me to tell him if he was exerting too much pressure or if i was uncomfortable at any time...but apparently he didn't mean what he said. He started to massage my neck and ran his hand through my ears. I just got my tragus pierced so it really hurt when he pressed it. I understand he didn't know this so I politely asked him to not touch that area. For some reason, he took this personally and got offended.He ignored my request and ran his hands up my neck, and pressed down on my ears again. I asked him politely to please avoid that area in case he misunderstood the first time. He didn't respond or apologize and proceeded to massage my feet, which was fine. But then, he proceeded to massage my neck again along with my ears! I just told him I was in pain, so I repeated myself very politely asking him not to touch this area. He slapped his hands down on his knees and rudely said "Well, what am I supposed to do then? Huh? Flip over." He was very rude, unprofessional, and extremely aggressive. I didn't say anything at the time because I was so shocked and almost in tears. The rest of the massage was pretty awkward after that incident. I'm not sure why he acted that way but afterwards, a female masseuse both inappropriately and unprofessionally started talking about how he stunk up the bathroom because he really had to go. I'm not sure if this was her subtle way of justifying his behavior but I didn't need to know about his bowel movements. Apparently he's been in this field for 17 years, so I'm not sure why he lost his cool after I made the simple request not to touch me in a certain place. This was inexcusable. I'd never come back to this place after he made me feel that way. Overall, a very weird and unrelaxing experience. After traveling there on the wrong day the very kind woman at the front (I wish I got her name) accommodated us and let us come back today (Valentine's Day). I can only speak for my own experience, and it was GREAT! The lady I had ( which I cant remember her name I just know she was Spanish) was amazing. She really went to work on my overly tense body. Although some (not all) of my messages were returned, It took me two months to get in touch with them without playing phone tag and being put straight to voicemail every single time. I also sent two e-mails within this period. My boyfriend had an appointment there and called to confirm the time, and I called shortly after to make my appointment...his phone call was returned a few hours later and mine was not returned at all. This spa PURPOSELY delays their business to Groupon customers and it is very obvious. Once I finally got in touch with them yesterday, July 14th, my Groupon was long expired and I had to pay $60.00 extra to equal the full price of their couples massage. The woman I was in touch with was very nasty and not accommodating at all. In fact, she completely insulted us and refused our service after I threatened to write a negative review. I am so glad that the person whom bought me this gift did not pay over $100. Wasn't even worth going. I felt like I paid just to have oil put on me. When entered the place I found it to be clean. I was offered a seat in the waiting area and offered tea or water. My Nail specialist very nice young lady with a knowledge about nail care. I came for spa mani/pedi. This place also has a hair salon in a room off from the nail service area the door is open and you can hear all the chatter. The lunch area is off from the Nail area and you can hear all that chatter. A very noisy place. But the foot massage and the melted wax poured over my legs was divine. You have big comfy salon chairs to sit on and they will bring you water or tea. While I adored the lady giving me my nail treatments the place was over all very noisy as the nail salon is an open area that must be shared to gain access to other rooms with no door and banal chatter. They have massage rooms and steam showers and a room for facials. So why won't I go back? The hair dresser was an older brassy blond with some real racial problems. She was speaking loudly about those black monkeys in wigs. I caught my breath. The girl was working with me did the same, she actually froze like she had been struck. The hair dresser was allowed to carry on her tirade which could be heard in a least three rooms. It spoiled the whole experience and I will not be coming back. read more

Unfortunately, my boyfriend did not enjoy his massage. Marissa worked on him, he asked her to apply more pressure, but nothing changed.
