Then I found Lee's, and everything changed. Justin walked me through everything--weight sizes, rod types, bait selection--all in a way that was clear, approachable, and perfect for a beginner like me. Starting something new like this can be overwhelming and intimidating, but Justin made it incredibly digestible. He's patient, friendly, and knowledgeable as heck. On top of that, he gave me some great tips on local fishing spots and some DIY tricks that work for him. The prices are super reasonable too--much better than big-name stores like Dick's or even Sierra. If you're new to fishing or looking for quality gear and advice, you can't go wrong with Lee's. I got my license, however, I really don't want to go there for any type of shooting or classes again unless they change their attitude!
