I hate this store. So much. I've been in countless times only to be ignored, talked down to, or just given one word responses to my questions. I just keep thinking that maybe one of my visits will result in something better, but it never does. Besides the service, I have issues with stores that only push Rolex. I'm sorry, but there are plenty of other watch brands out there that are on the same level (and many that are above in my opinion), but not according to Deutsch & Deutsch. The best part is that their selection is so slim that even if they WANTED to win me over, they wouldn't be able to with their tiny store, rude service, and small collection. After going to the one in Houston and realizing that horrible customer service was not a requirement for ALL Deutsch & Deutsch, I decided to give them another try. Yet after being ignored for about 10 minutes, we finally flagged a lady down to ask about the availability of a watch. After a blanket statement about how no one can get it (I've found a place in Houston that has 2 of these and a place in Dallas that had 4), they dismissively told us to come back in a year or so. Pass up Deutsch & Deutsch and buy on Ebay. Think about all of the rolex's that people are trying to unload to raise cash. Why would anyone buy a new one? "Well you could be getting a counterfeit"? It mabye happens very rarely, but deal with an ebay seller that has numerous transacations and at least a 99% customer rating. I have purchased 2 on Ebay successfully. When sales people tell you that, its the typical line they learn in Deutsch & Deutsch sales school the 1st day. I agree, they are so rude in that store. When we were finally waited on, the clerk made a comment about the logo on my husband's polo shirt, "S . .A . .A . .B . . ---what does that mean? I just made an expensive watch purchase from Ito Deutsch the owner of Deutsch Jewelers, on the recommendation of someone in the Jewelry business who I greatly respect. Ito and his staff could NOT have been nicer, kinder, or more patient with me. In fact, they talked me out of a significantly more expensive watch since I didn't love it as much. Worst service. I actually bought a new Rolex from them, they scratched it and did not want to exchange it or get it polished by Rolex. Ghetto place to buy a watch. Drive to San Antonio and buy it from LEE Michaels. Would never buy from again. Trash! read more
