The second time was in 2022, when I had lower and upper back problems and the third, most recent from Jan-Mar 2025, when my doctor diagnosed me having lower back and upper leg pain, after losing over 70 lbs. during my treatments for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma with Chemotherapy and loss of muscle mass in the process. So, over this last treatment period at Meier & Marsh, Jan-Mar 2025, I regained most of my strength back in my lower back and leg muscles. I was in town for just a couple of days with my husband to visit some friends and was having a…read moreflair up of some pain in my back and neck. My friends recommended I see Troy Marsh. He was kind enough to set aside some time for me in his busy schedule. He assessed the situation and explained in a very relatable way what was going on in my spine. He showed me some simple exercises that I could do everyday to correct the source of the pain. I have found in many healing modalities a tendency for practitioners to create a reliance on themselves so the patient will keep coming back. Troy is not like this at all. He does NOT make pain out to be an insurmountable battle that only he can help you with. Though I only saw him the once, I got the impression that he and the staff there were more like a knowledgeable and compassionate support crew ready and willing to help you get back into alignment. I can't tell you what practitioner is right for you in your own journey, but I can tell you, if you are reading this to try and decide if you should go here or not, that my experience of this business was one of kindness and a caring presence. It was non-threatening, noninvasive and very helpful. I've been doing the exercises everyday and they are helping and I am grateful.
