I ordered off the website and we were flying. Then things went a bit sideways. They gave me the wrong tracking number (carrier DPD) which showed the package as delivered. I did not have it so I spent quite some time chasing down DPD - they are a whole other level of horrible- and eventually went back to CBUK with the issue and they provided the correct tracking number. I checked back with DPD. THEY LOST THE BLINDS! Got in contact with CBUK and they sent out a replacement set express delivery. I have not yet fitted them but may ammend this review up if the blinds work out great. However, I will always check to see if DPD is a carrier in any purchases I ever make online again. If they are, forget it!

I call them and they said oh ok, we'll deliver it tomorrow then !!!!!!! Anyway, it arrives on Wednesday and after unpacking it, I realized it was wrong for my living room so I phoned them to organize a return. The rug was properly rolled up tightly AND tied with string securely. I was not able to reuse the orignal packaging as this was a very tight plastic wrapping which you could only cut to be able to get the rug out Total con, now that I think about it. Anyway, long story short, they receive it and send me an email saying the rug was loose. soiled and not in sellable condition so I would not be refunded my money. Clearly this was a complete exaggeration AND not our fault given it was impossible to reuse their packaging and the courier must have slightly dirtied the sides. Absolute liars and ridiculous customer service. We called them and an idiot named Paul said to write an email stating the facts and he would speak about it to his manager so we did, only to receive in return a one liner email saying nothing has changed, we won't refund you. We even offered to have the rug cleaned professionally (and believe me, it could have probably been brushed off!) When my partner called to speak to the manager the idiot Paul said he wouldn't pass him the phone nor give him his name!!!!!! What kind of thieving operation is this?????? NEVER buy anything from these bandits.

I was shocked at Allerton's price, which was completely ridiculous. They were at least £5,000 more than four of the companies, who all priced roughly the same, even out-pricing Everest, which shocked me. They come out at almost £8,000 more than the others for replacing all the windows and doors. Based on these prices, I decided not to go ahead with them, as I don't think they can justify their prices, regardless how good they claim to be. They use Rehau windows, which a lot of companies use, so the only thing they can use for price justification, is their quality of installation.

Our experience of Dee Windows was totally negative. We accepted their quote to replace a bedroom…read morewindow and window sill in April 2018. We didn't get the paperwork for the work until September which we returned with the deposit they asked for. The subsequently contacted us and asked for an additional payment saying that the window sill was not included in the original quote. We asked them to check the paperwork which they did and confirmed that it was included. They came out in October and made a judgement call not to carry out the work because of the severe weather and we rearranged for a few days later. They did not turn up for this and did not contact us to say why. We chased this up and were told that the office manager would get back to us but he didn't. The following day we received a brief letter from Dee Windows saying that they had returned our deposit. This is a quote from the letter: "We do not wish to carry out the window replacement for you." No explanation was given.

The quality of the windows is very good and the fitting was quick and efficient. They did crack a pane during fitting the bathroom window but they apologised and fitted a new pane a week or so later. We have recommended them to others as our experience was a very good one and five or six years later, the windows are performing well and not showing any signs of degredation.

It can right off and totally practical. Since then I've had a new bathroom roller blind fitted​ and they're going to fit​ Alexa motorised blinds on all the patio doors as they look amazing.
