I ordered blinds in May and cancelled them less than 24 hours later . Still waiting for the refund of £291 paid by card still not had it paid back in September . I'm in my 80's and can't afford to loose this sort of money , I've been reading some of the reviews , seems like I'm not the only one thinking this is DISGRACEFUL way to treat customers ,. SHOCKING !!! DO NOT GO NEAR THESE PEOPLE - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! I have just reported them to Trading Standards and had to threaten Court proceedings to get my money back. Visited our house 7 weeks ago and we agreed a price for supplying and fitting eleven blinds (stupidly gave him a 50% deposit (over £600) and was told to expect fitting in 3-4 weeks. Started to chase them a couple of weeks ago as we hadn't heard anything. At this point the blinds were apparently made and he was lining someone up to fit them. Paul promised that the installer would be in touch to fit first batch of blinds. Surprise, surprise - no one called! Chased again only to be fobbed off with excuse after excuse. At this point we smelt a rat so resorted to sending emails in order to have something on record. They replied to email but stupidly left their internal correspondence on the email trail highlighting their lack of professionalism. We then received a call from their office saying that they were cancelling our order as they didn't have time to make the blinds (that were apparently already made according to an earlier conversation!!!) At this point I found Paul's mobile number on a website, but he seemed to have developed an aversion to taking my calls. I really felt for the lady in the office who was left to field the calls and it appears that she has been taken on to sort out the company as issues like the one detailed above are not uncommon. We have now had the money refunded but if you find yourself in a similar position you need to be very firm with them and don't hesitate to instigate Court proceedings, I was amazed how simple the process is. read more

Appalling customer service from this company. I waited over an hour and a half for the owner Paul to meet me at our new property to get a quote for blinds throughout the house. I called three times to try and find out if somebody was still coming but received no answer still. I will not be contacting this company again especially after reading the very negative reviews from other customers read more

Deva blinds are a disgraceful company. We ordered a number of blinds off them 18 month ago. Its a very long story but we had to constantly call not remind them of the work that needed to be done. The jobs were done in dribs and drabs over an 8 month period. They still needed to do one job when they stopped responding to my calls, emails and eventually letters. Not only that but the quality of some of the blinds are so poor that I simply can't operate them. After a giving up on trying to contact them any longer I had to take legal proceeding. They didn't respond to any official communications. In the end the bailiffs were instructed to get my money back which they did over three payments. I can't believe that this company still gets any business. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! read more

I don't think I have ever had such appalling service from a company. To cut a VERY long saga short. We ordered a plantation shutter in Sept 2015 and paid to fast track its manufacture and fitting. 6mths and 3 poorly fitting shutters later we finally have a blind that but it still does not fit. No apologies, no communication, no refund - even of the fast track payment. AVOID!! COWBOYS! read more
