They said they would hold our items for three months and if not collected, they would throw them out. After not recieving any type of email for two months, my boyfriend drove all the way from abbotsford to this shop to pick up the art that we had created as he wanted to surpise me with it. Once he went into the shop, he dicovered that our art was not there anymore, they had lost it or thrown it out. This is so sad as they were a pretty expensive price as well i would say so. I am so dissapointed as this was something very special for us and it has been completely ruined. So i would reccomend you go to a more professional place where they dont throw away your things and actually email you when your art is ready. I would give this a 0 star review if i could.

The "FGB" (Fancy Glass Beads) that are made in China that "are comparable to Japanese and Czech Seed Beads but at half the price. Specially made for Beadazzle by FGB" Are advertised as solid glass. They are in fact painted beads and the coating rubs off easily when doing slip stitch bead crochet, and square stitch. They often use photos from genuine brands to promote these cheaper, low quality beads. They're cheap beads. you get exactly what you pay for. This company could improve by allowing customers to write reviews for their products, offering refunds, and not stealing photos from genuine brands to promote their own inferior products. It is incredibly disappointing that I can no longer recommend this Canadian website. I will change this review if Beadazzle.ca refunds the portion of my order that was falsely advertised, AND changes the product photos AND descriptions of their "FGB" beads thus making themselves trustworthy again. Until then, the review stands.

I found a new addition to the shop since I was there last -- Tejo handcrafted stone decor. With a couple of shelves devoted to displaying a limited selection of their soapstone crafts. Very cool stuff. I looked and admired. Left the shop with two, crochet-crafted tulips, and a ceramic mug. One of the flowers will look just right in a vase purchased at the shop next door. Not sure, at this time, whether I will use the mug for hot beverages, or as a vase, for a grouping of flowers. Time will tell -- at present, just pondering and admiring. I am glad to have devoted this time to returning to Churi. It is a fine shop, with such lovely displays of rather unique crafts and related products. And my purchase will provide memories to "keep in touch".

I asked her where the alcohol inks were and she told me which isle it was. I asked the other one where the washrooms were, and she told me they were closed due to Covid ( this may or may not of been true considering the other locations have been open ) She then followed me and stood 2 feet from me watching me, making me feel like I was going to steal something. I asked her if there was another area where they had resin ( as other stores often have an end cap of it in addition to the regular section ) she just brushed me off and said "no" Funny, as I found it myself a few minutes later. I got in line and waited. There was one cashier. The girl who was bitchy to me then told me I could pay her. I was scrolling on my phone looking for my coupon and she sighed dramatically, instead of just scanning the one they have at the til. She then slammed my change on the counter instead of putting it in my hand, and didn't thank me. Just walked off. Wow .. Management really needs to have a talk with her about basic Customer Service. I was planning on buying more then one item, but after the way she was acting, I decided to go to the one Downtown where they are all super friendly and helpful. The instructor was really sweet and gave a brief overview how to get the air out of the clay to how to wheel. It is fun for both experienced and first time wheelers. But first time wheelers may need a couple more tries before getting the shape right because the class is pretty short and gives the instructor a limited time to teach all the instructions. By the end of the class They take your pieces to fire and glaze and you pick it up in a week. Really great class with a variety of locations.
