Cajun AC was contracted by my homebuilder, Mikes Quality Homes, to install the central AC unit in…read moremy brand new home in Sept. 2015. Fast forward to Oct. 2016 and my new Rudd unit has leaked so much freon that it is no longer working properly. Called Cajun and the said that it was probably a manufacturing defect with the coil as Rudd has had issues with this recently. AC is covered under the new home warranty, so I figure it's all good. Thats when Cajun informs me that although the part will be covered under warranty, I will be responsible for labor, freon, and mileage. I ask why, as usually when a company makes a manufacturing defect, causing warranty claims, they pick up the tab. Cajun told me this is not the case as the AC is just out of the 1 year "bumper to bumper" warranty... by a month. Cajun came out and refilled it with freon and said they would see what they could do to minimize my cost. Then I never heard from them again (over a month now). I'm hoping that they stand behind their product and install, but I have a growing feeling that this will not be the case. I will post an update with an outcome when one is reached.

I requested and received a quote for a new unit install way back in January…read more The next day my septic tank went out and I had to immediately call Bobby and tell him I could not do this install now because I didn't have the funds for the new septic tank and new AC unit. He very kindly says, "That's ok. I understand." Fast forward 3 months and I'm ready to install. He arrives with his son on time and gets to work. Two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in your life. They tolerated me running my mouth and getting in the way the entire time asking endless questions about what they were doing and why they were doing it. The work they do is impeccable. Bobby will do it right or not do it at all. His attention to detail is incredible. He told me during the estimate visit that "He installs every unit as if his mom lived in the house." That's what sold me on him and I said to myself, "Well, we will see if that's just talk or if that's true." It could NOT have been more true. He literally does the job like he was doing it for his own mother. I kid you not. He will NOT cut corners, even if you ask him to. He will go the extra mile to make sure the installation is not good, but PERFECT. I told him that it's ashamed his beautiful ductwork job is in the attic because nobody can see it!! His response: "That's ok. I know I did the job right." I'm telling you right now, if you hire anyone else to do ANYTHING to your AC you will NOT get the level of care and concern that you will with Bobby and Jacob. If you ask he will tell you all the "little things" that he does to make it better. What he does that others won't. I could go on and on but you get the idea. When you call he might not answer and that's because HE IS WORKING. When you call the number you get him, nobody else. He will return your call or text, please be patient the man works like nobody I've ever seen before. His rates for installs of a new unit are quite reasonable. Remember, you get what you pay for. Cheap means cheap. I didn't want cheap. I wanted a great installation of a great product. Well I got a really fair rate on absolutely stunning work so I couldn't be happier. If you read this Bobby or Jacob, thank you!!!! My house has NEVER been this cool and comfy!!!
