Anyone using the service should check their QB accounts and make sure that the company or individual is the master administrator. Do not give an accountant permission to automatically draft your bank account. Change your QB password frequently. Do not let them close out each month. If you are invoicing you cannot make changes or add finance or late payments charges or any changes to the invoice.

Now that I'm on the other side of the fence, I aim to be the best client an auditor can have. In fact, Ellen is usually surprised by how fast I can turn out the PBC documentation back to her and I'm usually the one calling her to make sure our audit is on track timewise. But, her style is laid-back through over 20 years of Big 4 practice before opening the firm with the two other partners. She also made accusations about how I switched CPA every year which I have been with the same CPA for over 20 years. She would ask for sensitive documents; I would upload them to the portal within hours. Then I do not hear from her for days. She would text me again days later saying she has questions and would like to schedule a phone/zoom/google meeting. Then I would respond saying I can talk and asked for a time that will work for her. Saturday was one of the options she gave me so I asked if 1pm works for her, she then accuses me of not being reciprocal and weekends are her rest and family time. I will be filing a complaint to the State Board of Accountancy. She is very unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

After trying to call Natasha another 10000x and speaking with her incompetent admins, we ended up calling the state government directly to sort it out (and yes....it ended up being Natasha placing the wrong amount for one of the line items) Another note, by the time we finally reached her (after using a new number and name so that she'd actually call us back), she said she made no mistakes, would talk to the state government, and call us back......We still haven't heard from her.
