John then replied in a rude and dismissive tone they only do estimates on Tuesdays. I'm not sure if they really are that inflexible for appointments, and deciding it wasn't worth my time arguing with someone with his poor attitude to determine if they really are so busy they can only set aside one day a week for estimates - not to mention ticking off potential customers. No problem. There are plenty of other painters out there willing to earn my respect and business.
