Tried to point out a flaw in an assignment and showed them where ambiguity was showing instead of clear concise directions of what is expected for the assignment and everyone up to the Dean has been unable to show me otherwise and just decide to side with the Moronic Professor. I informed them that I was willing to discuss the issue in length, but no one reached out other than by email which isn't conducive to a discussion but meh...Also told them I was more than willing to do the extra stuff they were requesting if they could rewrite the instructions so they were clear and concise as to what is expected of the students...that wasn't done either; mind you this was a Training and Development course...guess you would think clear and concise instructions would be a non-issue for a class like this since that is a key component to any training and development plan. Now they can reap the consequences of failing to take in outside information from lowely students with the fact that my reviews will hurt their bottom line to some degree. Even if I only ever reach 1% of all people looking into going to that school and they decide to go somewhere else, that is a lot of cash over a lifetime. Guess they forgot that while I am only just a student I am the client. Also, it is rather annoying that they think that everyone in attendance is getting their first Master's degree and that we don't know jack...not like I am starting my third Master's at a different college this summer...Good luck DeVry! read more

Horrible student services. You have to realize that your "success coach" is actually nothing more than a salesperson whose job it is to sell you as many college credits as possible. They also give you a massive run around when it comes to pricing. I've been enrolled at Devry for 5 weeks and have been given 4 different cost sheets for this semester. What has me the most angry is this COMP 100 class I'm taking now. This class is so basic it's laughable. We spent a week learning about what a folder is and how to copy/paste. My academic advisers did not tell me that it was possible to test out of classes. They intentionally withheld this information from me so as to milk every possible dollar out of me. When I confronted her about this her responses was that I should have read page 121 in the student handbook. I expect that kind of BS "read the fine print " trickery from a used car salesman, not an academic adviser. Right now I'm on the verge of disenrolling. ps...if anybody wants I will post my entire unedited correspondence with the people at Devry who swindled me out of over a $1,000 by intentionally withholding information from me. read more

I had to file a waiver of collection due to significant negligence from the Devry University staff. A compliance survey done with Devry showed multiple discrepancies reported by Devry to the VA. I was very diligent about reporting my enrollment to Devry. I also have correspondence from Devry staff stating "even though you dropped your Spring B session classes prior to the beginning of the session, we neglected to report that information to the VA until recently when it came to our attention. While I completely agree that we are at fault for not reporting your enrollment status to the VA in a timely manner. On twelve separate occasions Devry incorrectly reported my enrollment. They made over $18 K in errors on my account and then sent me an email that said sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. I am a single mother that makes a salary of $38K a year. The errors made by Devry caused a financial hardship for my children. I would not recommend this University to other Veteran's even as an Alumni. That should speak volumes. read more

DeVry/Keller San Diego has an excellent location and very devoted students and alumni. I recently attended a military resource fair at the campus and it was an excellent way to make a lot of great connections within the veteran community of San Diego. The event was mainly organized by alumni who are very passionate, well-informed, and actively pursuing their careers as entrepreneurs and professionals. It was a really positive event and I look forward to attending more events/activities here in the future. read more

Faculty needs to listen to students and DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO. I moved to phoenix and started school out here and specifically explained if I wast a full time student i wouldn't be able to attend due to financial reasons, it was either work or school for me. They said no problem 3 weeks goes by classes start and still I only have one class and can't receive my full BAH. When I call to ask who scheduled this class. They have no idea who scheduled it and can't add in a second class. Due to this I couldn't keep up with the class and had to withdraw and now I have to pay that money back to the Veterans Affairs making my financial situation worse. This happened to me twice at the San Diego campus. DON'T let the faculty make promises they cant keep. I've been a student there for two years and it seems the only time devry cared about you is when they needed money and to register you for all the wrong classes. Their are many veterans like me that are dealing with this school and feel stuck. As an online student, Devry has never failed to constantly remind me that I should regret I ever enrolled in their school. The San Diego campus is centrally located and easy to get to from anywhere. The campus itself is pretty small, but so are the classes, a lot of individual attention! Although they have other programs, most are designed around business and technology, project management being one a lot of people I know have pursued. They also have physical classes, online classes and schedules that work around people who have a job and/or family duties. The staff and professors are approachable, knowledgeable and easy to work with! There are also a ton of veterans and military students, which is nice to see. Also worth mentioning, they have a lot of career prep assistance. In my opinion, great opportunity for those that want to work hard to accomplish their educational goals, bachelors or masters, at any time of their life! read more

I attended DeVry before the whole "lying about employment stats" thing. At the time, I thought I was going to be fine. I graduated with my BS in 2014 and my MBA from Keller in 2016. It's now mid-2018 and, after my paltry "we're sorry" check, I can't even get an interview. I was actually considering getting another MBA from a different school, so I could at least take Keller off of my resume. Their grade inflation is out of control, and they swindle veterans for taxpayer funded money from the GI Bill. Don't go here. Don't go to any for-profit college. They're garbage. Hands down the worst student help I've ever experienced. I have had to go back to campus on multiple occasions to resolve issues that could have been handled over the phone. The phones are useless due to the randomness of multiple locations being connected. It shouldn't be this difficult for a student to achieve a higher education. For all prospecting and current students of DeVry Enterprise, If you value your education and want the most out of your college experience, do not attend DeVry, and if you are a student, consider leaving for either a local community college or real university. The only reason why this review is getting 1 star out of 5 is because there is no 0 star option and the fact that the professors that teach at DeVry are actually great and have a lot of knowledge in their field. The professors are great, so shouldn't the education be great? No. At DeVry, their goal is to get you in and make you take as many classes as possible in the shortest amount of time to take all of your either hard earned money away, or for you to rack up a hefty amount of student loans. I myself have taken a whole 9 classes at DeVry and feel that I have wasted about a year of my college life at this place. It can't be a total waste though since I was accepted into the Dean's List with a 3.5 GPA right? Wrong, in order to get an A+ in the DeVry classes, 100%, you are required to attend at least 6 of the 8 weeks in class, do 6 discussions on the class shell, do any busy work assigned by the company, take weekly short quizzes, a mid-term (if applicable), and then a final. Sounds like a lot of hard work and dedication to me. But sadly, the points are literally free. DeVry has a NO plagiarism policy supposedly, but every week at least 1 or 2 people take direct paragraphs, not quotes, PARAGRAPHS from Google and paste them into discussions for full points on their grade. How about the quizzes? Google gives you the A. The Mid-Terms? Google gives you the A. But the final must be hard and you probably have to put in hours of personal study in to get an A right? Nope, Goggle gives you the A. Some classes even let you take the final at home. AWESOME! Most of the time in my Degree related classes, the books didn't even have the answers I was looking for to complete my busy work and I had to read articles online just to find the information that should be taught in class. I'm not saying that you can look up every single question on Goggle, but if you search hard enough, all the answers are laid out for you with a simple click of a button and no reading required. You are paying $365 a unit for these classes (or $609 if you are not full time) so you should probably be getting some top notch education with that premium price. I see people in my classes that have no idea what they are doing and just expect everyone else to do the work for them and they pass with little to no effort. The staff is fine at DeVry as they are pretty helpful while you attend classes and give them your money as it is their job. Don't be surprised though if you think this is your dream school when you visit for your first time, it is their job to sell the school to you. This is the reason why I ended up going to DeVry. A freshmen community college student with no direction was given an opportunity to pursue a degree and get it done faster than any other school. I took the bait and ended up wasting my parents hard earned money as well as being $12k in student debt in a little less than a years time. My advice to you? Do what I am doing now, I left DeVry, got my trasncript mailed to Mesa College, and now registered once again to attend community college and then transfer to a real university. If you are a student that is still young and is looking for a bright future in a field that they would love to pursue, DeVry is not for you. You'll save a few thousand dollars as well, considering CC is $46 a unit, instead of DeVry's $365 a unit. Oh and one more thing before I rap up this honest review, when I was at DeVry for the last time speaking with the staff, I asked them if they had anything to say to rebuttal my points of unsatisfactory with the school and to keep me going there, but they had nothing to say and not a single word of praise for their school. I'd give this fake ass school no stars if I could. They will make mistakes, which will cause you about $3000, but they would be "really sorry" that they can't fix the problem. But. You still have to pay it or they will hold your transcript making it no way for you to be able to switch to another school. Made several phone calls, spoke to everyone I could, they said they would call back, and nope nothing. I should have reviewed the school before I went there. I am about to graduate with an MBA in General Management from DeVry/Keller Graduate School. I took three classes at the San Diego campus and enjoyed each of them (I completed the rest of my degree online, but my adviser was at the San Diego campus). The professors were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. All the staff that I dealt with on campus were also excellent. I had an issue with my financial aid at one point and my financial aid adviser sorted it out immediately and was extremely personable. As with any experience in life, you can either focus on the negatives which will always be present, or you can choose to focus on the positives. You will get out what you put in. My experience with DeVry/Keller was excellent overall and I learned a great deal of information I will take with me as I venture out into the business world. I recommend looking into the school if you are seeking a place to do the same. read more

This place is a joke. Don't waste your time or money especially if you are military or a veteran. They do not take care of any of your VA paperwork and it's all a fraud. They have no one here that can take charge or admit that they made a mistake. They are lazy and all they care about is money. I am using my GI bill and cannot receive my transcripts to send to another school because they have a $3200 bill because they have not submitted anything to the VA. They blame it on Chicago and don't take care of you. They also change the degrees after you start and don't tell you. read more
