Quick Review - Farmers market located on the grounds of…read moreSmith Grove United Methodist Church - Highway 158 between Bermuda Run and Mocksville (GPS will get you there) - May to Oct, Saturdays 1-4 pm - Plenty of parking - About a dozen vendors but varies - Plants, meats, soaps, crafts, and a hot dog stand (as of May) from local vendors - No fresh veggies the two times I went (May) but they will have some once these comes in - Worth a stop if you in Davie County or Clemmons Long Review Glad to have more farmers markets close by. The more the merrier as far as I am concerned. The church grounds is a perfect setting for this market. Decent amount of parking, big trees providing shade and a nice large pavilion. The two time I have been (May) there was one vendor selling meats (chicken and pork). Prices were fair and the selection was decent. There were no vendors selling vegetables but they will once these start coming in. I wasn't expecting tomatoes and squash this early but was hoping for some early spring vegetables. Several other vendors selling things like plants, art work, soaps, hot sauces, and other items. The first time I went there were about 10 - 12 vendors. The next week the vendors were cut in half. Now my second visit was around 2:40 so perhaps some sold out of their goods and packed up. One hot dog vendor, no other prepared food options. I would not drive a long way for this farmers market. If you are local then it is worth a stop. I expect this market to get better as the year progresses.

Church folks are friendly and we always have a nice time. This is a new market but it is getting better every week! Veggies, eggs, meats, popcorn, Italian ice, homemade soap, plants, spices, etc.

There's never a bad time for a stroll through the Triad Farmers Market,…read morebut the heat of summer is going to treat you to a bevy of vegetables like you would not believe. You'll find the freshest picked everything, from cucumbers to tomatoes and all points between. The market is fully covered, providing some much needed shade, and there are some permanent vendors that have an indoor facility such as an ice cream parlor, candy and fudge, general store, etc. There are full bathroom facilities on site, and even a restaurant called the Moose Cafe at the back which served southern favorites. Of course, what is offered depends on the season. You'll find a bounty of selections starting in late spring, through the summer, and into the fall. In the winter, produce starts to become more sparse, but there is no shortage of places to buy your Christmas tree if you celebrate with one of those. Best advice is to bring cash, but many vendors can take a card these days. You may get charged a little extra for using plastic in some spots though, and to help with these folks margins, cash is preferable.

This country store has a little bit of everything you might be looking for from fresh produce, cheeses, meats, ice cream, preserves of various veggies, jams and much more. Alot to browse through. They have a variety of merchandise suitable for home, gifts and more. I took my time looking through what was in the fridge cases, had a home made ice cream from a local farm that produces the various ice creams, glanced through the vegetables, preserves, herbal remedies, plants etc. It is a small store but it has alot of items stocked inside. It reminded me of the old time stores where people were friendly and helpful and happy to explain about anything you might see without the high pressure sales pitch that no one wants to hear lol. I think you will enjoy browsing through this store and picking up some grocery items you needed or merchandise you didn't know you needed. Easy to get to and fun to explore.
