Very informative -- both in displays and personnel. A nice spot for some pictures and walking. Super clean restrooms and facility.

Great place to learn history of the area and the dam. Great displays and staff. The views are some of the best in the area and there are walking trails nearby. Great place to visit when you are in Branson.

Fantastic museum along the lake which gives the history of the damn and local wildlife. The surrounding gardens and walking trail are truly delightful. Perfect way to get out into nature and appreciate what it is you're looking at.

This 242-feet high and 6,423-feet long dam is incredible and part of what makes the Ozarks possible: the area along the White River used to have frequent catastrophic floods. The 22-minute video is fascinating and very informational. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The visitor center has info about Native Americans, hydropower, the building of the dam, and more. It's third level has gorgeous views overlooking the White River, Table Rock Dam, Lake Taneycomo, and the fish hatchery. We arrived at 9, when they open, and finished exploring everything--including the video--in less than 90 minutes.

This visitor center is probably one of the most well done and worth well visitor centers that I have ever visited. For such a relatively small building, there is a lot packed inside. It was opened in April of 2012 and still looks brand new. Some of the exhibits include incredible wall murals, displays of the local flora and fauna. I was very interested in the Ozarks' Most Unwanted animals as well as threatened and endangered species. There is also a Native American exhibit and history of the area. Loved the floor map inlaid in the floor showing the water's layout and the location of the Table Rock Dam. There is also a cut away model showing the working of a hydroelectric dam. Lucky for you, there is not quiz, so you don't need to bring a notebook. We loved the cute water safety display complete with Bobber the dog. The interactive displays as also fun. I wish I can power my own light at home like I did here! Another was plus is the gift shop. They have great gifts and merchandise as well as some education games, toys, etc.

When checking out Table Rock Lake, definitely make this stop. The museum is worth the stop and excellent for kids of all ages. Several interactive areas, historical and educational areas as well as photo ops. There is a beautiful back patio that overlooks the lake and Table Rock Dam. Fun to catch the boats cruse by. A movie room is set up on the second floor that offers a 22 minute video on the history of the building of the dam, very interesting! *Free admission!

Just had a rather negative experience there. We were confused as to where to purchase tickets for…read moretours. We went in with questions and waited for the people in front of us to make their purchases for the trolley. She was a little curt with them about making up their minds about which trolley they'd be on since the trolleys were waiting on them. Now, I've been told by more than a few that the great people of Eureka Springs are never in a hurry so don't expect it. We were also informed that the trolleys are not on a specific time schedule, but you can expect them every 35-40 min. So who cares which one they take? Now it was our turn. We asked about which tours were available and she looked at us like we were idiots. "That's seasonal" with a dismissive tone. We then asked about what the prior guests purchased. She informed us that the trolley tickets were the only thing available to purchase there. You can get tours from other places online only. There is a map placed right in front of the register and the credit card machine is right in front of it so I scooted it over to see it a little better. You would have thought I picked it up to throw it. She about came unglued and reprimanded me for moving it. "THESE WIRES ARE VERY SENSITIVE, DON'T MOVE THIS!". Well maybe try not putting it in front of the map? Maybe don't put a map there as there are several other maps? Seriously lady, maybe you shouldn't be in the front area. Maybe you should be behind the scenes. You're a little on the rude side of life, not fit for public interaction.
