Your firm represented my wife in a car accident case her name is Katja Hyman. It was about 7 years. Ernie said we are better off an arbitration. how we went to the hearing without the doctor you assigned us was beyond me. The insurance company had their doctor there without our doctor their to defend my wives injury awful. Second after we got our unexpected amount of the lowest settlement of $25,000 your firm charged us somewhere around $7.000 to $8,000 in paper fees and we had to pay the chiropractor over $2,000. I always felt we got much less then expected from the settlement. All the smooth talk that Ernie gave us that we should get no less then $100,000 was crap. Without having my wives doctor to rebut the insurance companies doctor we never had a chance. That I always thought was negligence and we were represented poorly and did not get the funds we deserved. Horrible job and we were under the impression that this firm got 1/3 of the total amount due to us. We feel and have always felt we got taken to the bank by this firm. I feel better getting this off my chest. I feel like my own lawyer took us to the bank like the insurance company. I always thought this firm made more on this then we did and we should have got 2/3 of $25,000 but we did not even get 1/2 of the settlement. I will make it my personal obligation to write a review on a monthly basis to inform potential clients of the bad bad job this firm did in our case. read more

I was involved in a car accident the day after Christmas, 2015. My car was totaled and the ambulance crew took me to an emergency facility miles from the scene of the accident, rather than to one much closer of which there are several!! I didn't realize it at that time (I was in strapped down in a gurney in the ambulance) but this was a hint of problems to come. A California Highway Patrol officer arrived at the scene before I was taken away, and determined that the other driver was at fault. After I returned home I was contacted by the insurance company of the other driver and was offered miserable compensation, in my opinion, for the accident and the totaling of my car (for which my insurance company had already made a payment). Soon chaos began to occur. Besides not offering me much compensation for the accident, the amount offered to the organizations involved in the accident (ambulance service, emergency care facility and the emergency room physicians) did not meet their requested amounts. I began to be dunned by collection agencies for shortage or nonpayment. Then these were reported to the credit agencies and my credit rating began to drop! I hired a law firm to help me, and it did the best it could but eventually concluded that a law suit was needed. They contacted their ally DeWitt Algorri & Algorri, PC, trial lawyers (DAA) in June, 2017, and that began the return to sanity! For the next 18 months Carolyn Tan and her staff at DAA battered away at all this mess and finally got things to the point where the case was successfully closed January, 2019, - after over three years! Called this firm to get a consultation. As soon as someone picked up, they put me on hold. Then they came back and said hello and immediately put me on hold again. Not the best first impression. After telling the person who picked up the phone what I wanted to speak to them about, I was transferred to one of the lawyer's voicemail to leave another message explaining the situation. That was about 3 weeks ago.... I have not received a phone call back. I have spoken to other lawyer offices who have had much better customer service and have gotten back to me in a timely manner. I felt odd that I had to explain certain terms since this is a law firm that I got referred to online for issues with auto insurance companies. After I explained the case she informs me she will transfer me to a voice mail of attorney and to leave her a message with all the details of the case. Okay this was a waste of time , why did I spend time explaining the case to a non attorney to only be asked to explain it all over again to a attorney's voice mail to see if they could handle my case.
