My past chiropractors used stim-pads and/or roller-massage tables instead of this very localized technique. I found "active release" very effective on my "hunch shoulders" syndrome inflicted by today's lifestyle: too much sitting at a desk or steering wheel. His traditional spinal manipulation method is firm and effective. Let's face it, a former NFL linebacker should be able to move my spine! If not for Gregory McDonald, D.C. noticing the difference in an X-ray, I wouldn't be enjoying the relief of my lift leveling me out.
