People would have no idea this cafe is in the area, even with the recent construction of the Hemady Square building at the corner, but if you somehow stumble onto it (since you know where it is now), you'll know you're onto something great.
Funny enough, it was my mom who first took me here, and I've been indebted to her since. I love sweets and I love their mochi, Japanese sweet glutinous rice cakes that have a filling (like chocolate or ice cream, in this case) inside. The place is small and humble, as they seem to be operating right out of the owner's house, but it's a good, peaceful setting to have dessert in.
I've tried a lot of their mochi and they're all good (trust me), but I always go back to their green tea one for its subtle flavor. It's also pretty affordable at around 40-60 bucks, as it is a sizable ball of dessert. read more
