If you're lucky enough to get there on a day they have strawberry filled cronuts do yourself a favor and just get two because you won't want to share. The breakfast Croissant was perfect, the matcha latte is really good too. Ask for the dalgona latte topped with dalgona. What is dalgona anyway?! I've never had anything like it! From the pictures I assumed it was caramel chunks. I worried the candy would become a hard rock in the iced latte. I learned this is Korean style honeycomb toffee. Ah-mazing. It was light and crispy and so good. This paired with a good-old fashioned maple donut made a perfect match. Another interesting find was the fruity pebbles donut. DF Donuts is one of the best donut shops I've been to! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the donuts are delicious. I've gotten a couple dozen donuts from them on multiple occasions and the donuts have always been very fresh, sweet, and soft. They've also tossed in a couple free donuts! I love and wanna support local coffee shops so I decided on my visit to Stockton, to stop by this one. I've never been to DF Donuts and was very curious. First impression was the place looked a bit too simple on the outside and plain looking.... but inside is a whole nother story. Place was super clean, relaxing, with plants and beautiful architectural furniture. Unique big glass display of cereal topped donuts, big huge claw donuts, low price delicious coffee, $2 with creamer or whatever u like. Worker was very polite and patient and informative. Ok. So this is an "American Airlines inflight entertainment made me do it" review. I decided on my flight to watch the Donut King documentary. Which basically takes you through the rise of the Cambodian owned donut business in California. Very interesting story. After watching I decided I MUST hit up the best donut place I can find while in Cali. So I did. DF Donuts makes ABSOLUTELY the most delicious donuts I have ever tasted. The shop is super clean and totally cute. I had the following: twist 10/10, unicorn (sooo cute) 10/10, and the Kouigh Amman / !!!! The KA is a must try. It is a cross between a sticky bun and a croissant and is nothing you have ever tasted before. It is buttery , not overly sweet, the caramelized sugar is delicate and it melts in your mouth. The coffee is good as well. Most of all the staff is helpful, friendly, and full of good vibes. read more

Before I had the chance to sit down n had coffee treated by a friend. Little did they know, 1) I was excited to try the cronuts for the 1st time/visit, 2) I wanted to make purchases, 3) my friend & I walked-in together, and 4) he had already purchased donuts & coffee for us while I was in bathroom changing shirts, because I was cold from running earlier. Besides just leaving at the statement to tell me when I was walking out from bathroom, that the bathroom is for customers only, it was rudely added-on by the cashier (maybe owner) that I have to make a purchase to use the bathroom. She could have just left it by saying, "bathrooms are for customers only." I may have looked raggedy (no make-up, exhausted from a long run or homelessness) but that's not nice, professional nor is it in the average category of a "good customer service". read more

I really liked this place when it opened up about a year ago but the quality since then has seemed to go down. I tried one last time but the last 4 times I have come in when the store has just opened for the day and they have no kouign aman. If there's a specialty item you have in your small business and nowhere else in town offers it I expect you to have it. They have a wide variety of donuts. Even really cute decorated ones your kids would love. Our family enjoys their Ham and cheese! The only downer is that we never get that freshness taste. DO NOT GET TRICK BY THIS PLACE FOR BEING ALL NEW. Their donuts are overly extremely sweet! The breading is always never added with sugar and originally supposed to be plain salty bread but they make their bread super sweet, on top of the super sweet cream/ flavorings on top. Unless you want to end up having a sugar spike and crash. Their drinks are also overly sweet, like the Thai tea. And, just asking gently for suggestion that it is too sweet makes them all confused. We should be promoting and supporting good health instead of causing chronic illness. Don't know if their mentality or taste buds are on point and maybe can't taste any sugar anymore, not a good sign of keeping a healthy kitchen and community. read more
