The food was fresh and light and the prices extremely fair. The staff was attentive and they gave us a tasing menu as we wanted to share everything. The eggplant appetizer melts in your mouth, the gnocchi was so smooth and the pork was excellent. I don't take pictures of food but I wish I did. Don't miss this place!!

Cervo is located along the shores of Lake Como, with spectacular views from our patio-side table. Service was friendly and efficient, and my pesto pasta was quite scrumptious, especially in comparison to the disappointing pastas I had in Milan, prior to arriving in Como. The house-made pesto sauce tasted fresh and dare I say, bold. Mind you, I've had better pastas before right here in LA, but they didn't come with breathtaking views like Cervo does. The sauce was slightly sweet and brought the whole pizza together. I did enjoy eating my pizza with a fork and knife, a far cry from folding it in half and eating with hands New York style. What a great way to enjoy Como. It topped off our morning of silk scarves, cloud bread, gardens, and farmers markets.

Menu prices are affordable, especially considering the amazing views - just unmatched. The couple that runs the cafe is also super sweet and hardworking. It was so fun taking the Funicular up to the top of the mountain and taking photos and just stopping IN AWE the whole route up there. The owner and his wife are so kind and hospitable. The food was unreal (we had the bruschetta, bolognese, and tiramisu) as was the wine. The music playing helped keep the ambiance romantic while the customer service made the experience unforgettable.
