I came in to purchase a few items for a friend's birthday. This particular friend had spent some time on an Indian reservation in Arizona in their youth. I thought they might enjoy receiving an item that reminds them of that particular time in their life. There was a lovely woman that helped me pick out a few items and also gave me some information on events that is held locally with regards to the various Indian tribes in the area. It is a really nice store that carries jewelry, art and other items of interest such as the Indian headdress, pottery, dream catchers, talking sticks and other items of interest. This is not the type of store that you just run grab and get out. You really need to take your time to browse, read and reflect because the items in this store aren't just cool souvenirs, they have meaning and great cultural significance. It reminded me of being in a museum. Normally, I would run straight to the jewelry but this time, I found myself drawn to other items and really needing more time than I had available. I know that I will be back for a special event in a few weeks so I will definitely be purchasing something at that time. If you like items of cultural significance and uniqueness, this shop is great place for inspiration and exploration.

They have pretty good stuff here and for pretty cheap. Stuff like handmade dollies for 50 cents and neat kitchen stuff from the 70's and 80's. I bought a Olympus Infinity zoom 35mm film camera for $2. If I had bought it at a camera store I would of paid easily $38.00. The camera just needed a CR123 lithium battery and some 35 mm. I also saw two typewriters there...one is an electronic- a Smith Corona I think for about $25 and an old Royal standard for about $50. In case you wanna know why 92 is always jammed up? Its the light at this shopping center....to be fair to all the other traffic lights on 92 (I'm not Starbucks...I'm an equal opportunity traffic light complainer) All the traffic lights on 92 basically cramp my style! Just as you think you're getting ahead when the light in front of you turns green only to see that the NEXT light is red. So basically you're moving towards sitting at the next red light. (If the street light department of Woodstock is reading this....please synchronize them...I promise I'll try to observe all the 50 million stop signs in my neighborhood.... For some reason the left turning lane here is the size of a napkin so if you get behind a guy waiting for the left turn red arrow to turn green....good luck...you can watch a whole season of Game of Thrones and that sucker still be red!
