Don't be swayed by them, who talk a good game because the dollars are pocketed to their advantage. I'm not a complainer but how many times do you have to state issues/concerns especially when everything was so blatant and spoken of at least once. It should've been recorded and corrected without further discussions, however not in my case, so I was aggravated that issues were not taken care of in a manner which I felt comfortable with by Accela Public Adjuster. Look, I get it that they (contractors etc.) all work together to get paid. No way ever would I recommend Accela Pubic Adjusting to anyone who may be in a situation where they really need help.

After a quick visit to our building and a brief discussion of how they might help, it was ultimately decided that it would be in our Condo's best interests to simply go with the insurance company's private adjuster. Despite the fact that GEM Adjsters LTD. had advertised on their website that "no up front fees are ever charged to you" and in fact ultimately did nothing to adjust our insurance claim, GEM Adjusters LTD. nevertheless decided to sue my Condo for compensation falsely claiming an alleged breach of contract. Because there was never a compensation agreement entered into, I was perplexed as to why GEM Adjusters was seeking recompense. Needless to say, our Condo spent much time and a lot of money from our operating budget attempting to resolve this troubling matter through the courts. After nearly a year of them pestering us to monetarily settle the case, they eventually decided to drop their lawsuit against my Condo, only after I had been compelled to bring a counter lawuit against GEM Adjusters LTD. for their bad faith in the service of public adjustment with my Condo. In spite of the lawsuits dismissal, as I've previously mentioned in this review a great deal of time and money was lost on account of GEM Adjuster's unfair business practices. Because of this bad experience with GEM Adjusters LTD., I would strongly urge anyone who is thinking of using them as a public adjuster to be extremely wary.
