She spent the whole time talking and looking at her coworker, and I kid you not there were moments where she was buzzing my sides and not even looking at me. The fade on each side was uneven, with a random patch of longer hair on my right side. And one of my sideburns is a half inch higher than the other. Rather than go back to complain and get it fixed, I'm going to go someplace where they give their work attention and detail, and where they value the person in their chair.

I was under the impression the appointment was with Alex, the owner, but after he sat me down in his chair and we spent a few minutes discussing my haircut and reviewing pictures of how I style my hair (which I told him I am very particular about) he told me that my appointment was actually with someone else, Herman. I was surprised by this and expressed concern as to whether Herman could give me the cut we spent several minutes discussing. I was assured that "we're all barbers". That should have been the first red flag. Herman and I were not able to communicate so Alex briefly told him some of what we discussed. I also showed Herman the picture. The haircut I received looked nothing like the picture, is uneven, faded poorly, is so short and choppy I can't style as in the picture I showed, and it needs to be fixed. The quality of service at this show is so poor I could feel how dull the scissors were during the cut. The scissors were consistently pulling my hair, rather than cutting. I did not receive the skin fade I asked for even after i was double checked that he knew I wanted a skin fade (he initially only gave me a taper). I was visibly upset with the process but decided not to make a scene in the shop and to wait until I got home to call and speak with Alex. When I called right after getting home and seeing how bad the cut was, he blew off my concerns, said he thought it was a "great cut" and then told me I could make another $45 haircut appointment to have it fixed - but I would have to wait until Tuesday, at the earliest. I was expecting him to tell me to come in after his last cut of the day, but I guess Alex has better things to do than make things right with his (former) customers. He did tell me to wait by the phone incase someone cancels - great customer service! I'll be getting this terrible haircut fixed elsewhere. Save your $45 dollars - a lawnmower can do better.

Alex gave me one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. If you have long hair, Alex can't cut it. Alex made no attempt to 'wash' the gel/ hairspray out of my hair. How are you supposed to cut hair that is 'gelled up? That should have been my first clue that this was going to be bad. Both my sides are completely different. One ear actually has a sort of crappy blend. On the other side, my ear is carved out like a shelf and half-hidden still. And the back is uneven, uneven isn't even the way to describe it; it is horrible. Seriously, how is this guy in business? It is embarrassing how bad of a haircut I received. And don't waste your time making an appointment you will still wait :30 minutes.
