I can't believe it was listed as a geographical location (so INCORRECTLY). We were recommended this resort by some friends of ours and thank goodness we found it. This is a beautiful piece of paradise. Flat level camping spot with plenty of room between neighbors. Kids area, dog park, beach, pool and club house area. They have new double sites where you can "buddy camp" (doors and awnings facing each other). Phase 3 is adding over 50 new sites. Lazy River, new water slide and many more extras. It's definitely worth the trouble I went through to find their listing and hopefully you will get an opportunity to check it out for yourself too.

The pool area was large with fun outdoor music, yard games, and beverage offerings. The service was exceptional. Staff came out to open all of the umbrellas poolside and brought out pool floaties for the kids to play with. The resort offers a yoga studio that is so cute! There was also a bar that opens in the afternoon & offers beverages, including serving your drink a plastic cup, so you could bring it poolside. While we were there, the staff was working hard to set up an oyster tasting event in the gardens. Although we did not spend the night, and we're just there for the day, I would 100% recommend and be delighted to go back. Note, the only downside was that their pool is not heated. We were visiting in April, and it was definitely a little chilly... But coming from Wisconsin, we still want swimming anyway! But it appears that the majority of hotels in that area don't heat their pools. Not expected from having usually vacationed in Florida, but fun regardless.

I had a couple issues with the room that were both quickly resolved. I felt safe and as a solo traveler that is important to me. They have most of the amenities and the travel to the beach area was quick and easy. The city of ocean springs was just a few car mins away and was a real gem. Laundry and vending prices very reasonable. Free bfast and fitness room. My stay was a full week.
