While looking for a location for a month stay we saw They have a lot of empty spaces and now I understand why if you can't reach anyone you can't rent them. We drove through and found a couple different park residents and stopped to ask if they knew who or where we could find someone.. one said" good luck ". Another said " it's a hit or miss"This is no way to run a business !! Finally encountered a very rude and snippy woman whose name is Judy says she's the manager. We wouldn't stay there if they gave us a spot !! Also spoke to a " long time " resident who states the manager is a drunk who poisons and kills the the neighborhood cats .. and is extremely volatile. Stated they tried to have warranty work done on their camper and the repair man won't even come in the park because she is a drunk and try's to extort money from them for allowing them to come in the park. And forget washing cars or your camper she wants money for that too. Wish the new owners knew this but she says she doesn't have any phone numbers to contact them ?? Yeah ok NOT We ended up at another park on Hwy 90 they are extremely friendly and actually says that they get a lot of people who says the same exact thing .. DO NOT GO TO THIS PARK

There are 2 lots just separated by a small road. The second lot has the pull throughs and it also has a pool, fire pit and covered seating. There are a few bathrooms at the second pool, but they are bare bones and look like an afterthought. There is no store on site and the workers have been ok, not friendly, but not rude. The grounds are well maintained. There is a Waffle House on the corner and they give the RV guests a 10% discount. We paid extra one time for a site with a gulf view. Don't do that...the gulf view is on the opposite side from where your awnings are situated and there really is no view if you're sitting down anyway. We had a gulf view on the second lot that we didn't have to pay extra for. *They have a 10% Military Discount!

Golf cart friendly, so we drove our golfcart everywhere!!! The campground has fully air conditioned showers, bathrooms and laundry room! If you fish, you can launch your boat at the campground or fish from the dock. Also, have an elevated deck for bird watching with a covered picnic area for cookouts, crab boils or bar-b-ques! The owners are extremely accommodating, helpful, and NICE!! We will definitely be back!!

Joel, Jamiee and there family are awesome. They had an amazingly well thought out and articulate packet of to-dos and must eats around the area. The office/laundry/bathhouse has an elevated porch perfect for nature watching and capturing the awe inspiring sunsets over the bayou. We highly suggest you check them out. They are regularly adding amenities it seems every time we checked there IG page.

Where do I start with all the great things they have to offer...Very welcoming, helpful staff and a general store with a good selection of necessities, souvenirs and even beer and wine. They have a game room and a cafe. There is a little dog park area and golf carts and ebikes to rent. They have weekly events and activities...The icing on the cake is their fabulous pool, manned swim up bar, and lazy river! Such a treat and we truly felt we were on vacation and not just parking somewhere. All the sites are nicely spaced and concrete and level. And they each have a nice picnic table. There are a few cabins to rent, too. The park is gated, which is a welcoming perk.

But come the weekend it turned into a big party which was not for us. To many people and the pool was to small. I couldn't even go to the pool. I was disappointed with the complimentary pancake breakfast. You had to make the pancakes yourself in the little oven and they were small. I did not see a staff member in the room to help so I left. Also, the beach was not nice. It was brackish water, smelled, full of plants, logs and sticks and I saw a 4 foot crocodile by the shore in the water. If you want a nice beach experience, take the ferry to Ship Island. I was told that was nice. We found out to late and were unable to go. I wish the staff would have been more informative about the area.

This year we stayed for our families July 4th reunion and had an excellent time until the new manger tried to charge us another $400 (on top of the $630). We were flabbergasted. Apparently their campsites are rated for only 2 adults & 2 children, and you pay so much extra per person, PER DAY. That would total $1000 for two campsites for 5 nights (yes, it was also a holiday). You can stay for the same amount of time at Paradise Ranch in Tylertown or Yogibear for less amount than that and they offer so much more for families. THANKFULLY, we were able to speak directly with the owners and had the issue resolved, but we definitely will not be back if this is what they charge, which is sad because the place is very nice and isn't crowded. We didn't have to worry about others running over our children with golf carts or loud parties. For the most part, the restrooms are clean, and the grounds are kept cut. I do appreciate the cameras they have around the park and the locked gate in the front. The boardwalk is a nice touch for sight seeing. Our friend stayed in the cabin and didn't have any complaints. Overall, as long as the prices aren't raised, we will return.

The cabins are new construction, they all have a full kitchen with stove and refrigerator, full bathroom. Smart TV, access to high-speed internet, outdoor grill and fire pit. Each of the cabins connect to a beautiful boardwalk that wines its way through the trees and along the creek bank. We decided to stay outside of Louisiana where the majority of our work was and I found this gem on google. Called the number and Dusty answered. Saved us a pull through spot right up front and even helped us set up when we got there around 9pm. We stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed every second. It's off a back road with no street lights and that can be a bit unsettling to me but honestly, I stayed here by myself during the day and early evenings and didn't feel any type of way about it. People were always out, walking their dogs, kids riding bikes, so I felt pretty safe. Dusty was accessible whenever we needed something and drives through the park several times a day. There are full time residents that live at the park that are super friendly and always wave. My only advice is If you travel with dogs, be sure to keep them on a leash. Some residents let their dogs roam free and my pups don't do well with unleashed dogs approaching. The laundry facility is upstairs in the office building- 1 washer and 1 dryer. Dryer works exceptionally fast. There is a bathroom up there as well that looks to be well maintained and cleaned. We will definitely be back if we make it out to Pass Christian again!

We were asked to leave because our neighbors threatened to leave, and they would be staying longer than us and I quote "I would loose money." Fine. At this point, after interacting with her a few times, we were ok with leaving, just not a friendly lady (which our neighbors told us the night before). We found another campsite and packed up to leave. We knocked on our neighbors door and made our boys apologize for anything they might have done because if they did do something we will fix it. Our neighbors had no clue what we were talking about. Said they never complained nor heard anything hit their camper. The lady was super sweet to us and said she was sorry we had to leave. We were refunded our monthly rate. We did mention to owner/manager she should let folks know when they call weeks in advance and say they are coming with children, that it's not a family friendly place. There is nothing there. It's just a solid rock parking lot. May be fine for older folks without children or someone visiting a day or two but not full time. Also note a train runs past about every 15mins! Lastly, they were pretty much empty. For some reason they put us on top of our neighbors. We asked them for a different site and she said, "No. We are full". Yea, ok. The park we are at now was the complete opposite. They are very full but once we explained to the manager what happened at Gulf Haven she said she was going to find us a spot here. Even willing to make phone calls to see if guests were still coming. This may very well be a great park we just feel it needs to be labeled for the older crowd or those without kids.
