To keep this simple, Mr Chertock took care of everything and I'm happy to say, I am no longer the owner, and I walked away with more than I thought I would, and it couldn't have happened at a better time. At the time of writing this, I still have not received my cheque as they gave a document pertaining to Medicare/Medicaid lien, even though i filled out my paperwork stating that i have health insurance through my employer, and that i also have my automobile insurance, they still decided to drag my settlement out. In the meantime, the money is sitting in the bank (probably gaining interest, which I am sure I will not get any), and my bills are piling up, with the banks calling me everyday about my outstanding debts for my car and my mortgage. I will never recommend these people to anyone. If i do not receive my money by the end of October 2024, i will be reporting this matter to the Bar Association and to the NYS Attorney General.
