This firm has no teeth, no fight, and will do absolutely nothing to protect your interests. From the very beginning, they failed to mention that they don't even go to court. Despite the ongoing and obvious issues with my co-owner--my brother--they strung me along for over two years, charging $5,000 upfront, another $9,000 later, and then hitting me with an additional $27,500 at closing without any prior disclosure. All this, and yet no real progress was made. They allowed my brother's lawyer--a local storefront real estate attorney charging only $4,400 over two years--to completely push them around, dictate the terms, and walk all over me. My lawyer had no fight in them to stand up to the other lawyer, protect my interests, or stop me from being taken advantage of. My brother unilaterally evicted tenants, costing me 18 months of rental income, and I made it clear I would not pay for renovations and wanted the property sold as-is. Despite this, Russo Law Group let my brother take full control of the situation while I was left with no say. To make matters worse, after all that time and money, they revealed that they don't handle court cases and would simply pass me off to another firm for legal action. Why wasn't this disclosed upfront? Adding insult to injury, my original lawyer left the firm, and I was reassigned to someone completely unfamiliar with my case. Russo Law Group is toothless, ineffective, and a complete waste of time and money. They failed to protect my rights, allowed the other side to steamroll me, and drained me financially while leaving me worse off than when I started. If you need a lawyer to actually fight for you, avoid this firm at all costs.

I mention this 1) so that you make sure to check out the other pages (search for "levin law" or "yevgeny" - all 1 star reviews) and 2) because they removed my negative review based on "it was posted on 2 different companies so it must be fake." I'd guess they are taking down many negative reviews based on this flimsy excuse, so be aware. So....here's my experience. I was a seller, trying to do a sale of my apartment. I had a buyer lined up and ready to go, so it was lawyer time. Great! And they're cheap, how complicated could a straightforward apartment sale be for a company that obviously churns them out? The problem came when my buyer got spooked by some of the language in the contract they received. I don't know if it was their lawyers being dumb, or something the Levin firm had done because NO ONE WOULD TALK TO ME. It's even possible they were doing some kind of amazing job behind the scenes, but I'd never have known it. Because: I literally never got any contact with an actual lawyer. I called, I emailed, I had my broker call and email. Nothing. This despite the promises they make on their website. In fact, I'd probably let it all go if they didn't guarantee in writing that you will have a lawyer's phone number and be able to contact one directly when you need to, because that is NOT the case.
