Their selection is comparable to the chain stores, and it's clean, organized, and if you need help the staff is usually very accommodating. If you call the store with a question, you will get to speak to someone--unlike Home Depot--and get a timely answer. Their garden center and Christmas display are fabulous. I'd rather spend a little more and know I was supporting a local business that offers satisfactory customer service.

Scheduling needs a lot of work, overcommitting is an issue because other customers suffer when deliveries cant be done, Stines family values is non existent, they will sell you floor models before they sell you a newer product, they purposely tell their drivers to do whatever is possible to deliver their lumber but don't listen to the risks, a lot of nice yards have been destroyed because of this. Sales reps will say and do anything to get you buy. They have no loyalty, and they don't care as long as they're getting paid. I just never really find a need to shop here. Well today I needed them I needed two long shackle pad locks and a cable with eyes to secure something, I was very disappointed that none of the staff could direct me to what I was looking for and once I searched every aisle I finally found the cable I was looking for but the lock selection was pitiful so I moved on.
