Stayed in the beautiful Greentree suite during our 2015 dipnetting trip. We absolutely love Diamond M. Ranch! You can rent rooms, cabins, or RVs; you can even rent a RV-site, or pitch your tent! The grounds are super clean and very well-maintained. They offer guided/unguided activities, to include fishing, hiking, or just sitting around their campfire roasting marshmallows or having a cold beer. It's family-friendly but perfect for couples too. They even have a Saturday night potluck social. They aren't pushy at Diamond. They extend a warm welcome to all of their activities, but they are also respectful of your privacy. They have a super clean bathhouse, fish cleaning stations, and a laundry room on the grounds. They also have a little store in their main office in case you need munchies or forgot your fishing waders. We can't say enough great things about this wonderful place. After our amazing week with them, we put a deposit down for the following year without hesitation! If you are ever in Kenai, come to Diamond; it truly is a real gem! ;-)

My family stayed at Diamond M Ranch Resort with a group of friends for Labor Day weekend. Hands down my new favorite campground. This place is very well maintained. The property is beautiful AND they have a farm!! That's right, a whole farm with baby goats and baby pigs, cows, horses and Llamas! The owners were wonderful. They took us on a farm tour and a hayride. It was such a fun experience that I can't wait to come back! Full hookups worked great. Clean facilities and the wifi actually works all around the campground. I'm not sure if the adults or the kids had more fun. This place deserves your business.

An absolute jewel. The grounds, folks and community could not be better. I am already planning my NEXT visit to this calming fishing locale. I just wish that Fairbanks was closer, if it was you would find me here several times a year!!

They have two fish stations and a path to the river but to narrow for a stroller only negative I can think of.

Literally there's a queen bed and one person walking space on either side of the bed. No storage space nor closet. One sitting chair. Tiny bathroom and shower. Felt like an RV more so than a motel room....too cramped. $165/night....mehhhh. Location is great for dip netting. The check in guy was so lack luster. He didn't exhibit the type of hospitality I felt characteristic of places that charge that much for a closet space. Staff did respond quickly to requests and check out guy was warmer than the initial guy. They have some $250/night cabins shoved onto the parking lot and tightly packed RV lot. I guess I'd say...bravo on maximizing every square inch to make $$$! I would definitely look for a more spacious spot next time I'm in the area. I like to be able to stretch my arms and legs without hitting a wall.

There is a bathroom, small fridge and queen bed. The views are amazing. It may be less crowded because dip net season just ended a few days ago but we didn't feel overcrowded. I don't know why everyone is complaining, it lists what you get for the price online. The owners are the quiet type but were very accommodating. I wouldn't say it's a 5 star hotel but it was 5 stars in that it offered what it advertised, was clean and comfortable. It seems like most of the complaints are from the RV park users. If you're a mature adult and enjoy a quiet camp with a beautiful view I think you'd be happy here. It's not a 20's something party spot.

The sites along the river have lower numbers, and are a sunnier and less private and have less trees (they'll be on your right when you drive in). Maps at the gate house, ask for one. Tent only sites and RV sites are also on the left, although tenters can tent wherever they want. The tent only sites are HEINOUSLY exposed- sardine like spots. But if you're the kind of person who is afraid of wildlife, likes people and wants zero privacy and no trees, head for the tent only sites. The picnic tables and fire rings in this campground are in very good shape here. You can cook on the grate without your food falling through. My one gripe is the waste dump is an extra 20 dollars!!! That's an outrageous charge. Drive 2 miles down the street to Fred Miles to access the free waste dump and water. There is free water near the guard house if you want to fill up on your way in or out, but it's not on the map.

A grumpy old man in a golf cart came and yelled at me, he said the kid told me I could turn around only. I tried to calm him down and said I would remember, but he was very angry, and aggressive. They want $8 to just drive through the campground to talk to someone.
