I am glad I checked reviews. I saw several tint shops on Yelp with no reviews or negative reviews. Diamond Pearlz Auto Details had great reviews and that is what I experienced when I went there today. My experience: Last week, I purchased a hatchback car that someone else had tinted the back window and the previous owner had done a poor job. I could barely see through the back window which made changing lanes hard. I thought I might have to replace the entire window. I called Diamond Pearlz Auto Details and spoke to Earl. He said he could 100% get the old tint off without damaging the rear window defrost strips. I took my car to Earl today and in about an hour he had all the old tint off and all the glue. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Earl was on time, very nice and did an excellent job.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend him. Then Earl showed me what quality tint looked like by letting me see what was on his truck. You can pick different amounts of tint depending on what percentage of light you want to block. He showed me a few options and I am going to return next week to have him tint my back window with enough to provide some privacy but still light enough that I can see the traffic behind me. read more

Where to begin. I brought my 2014 BMW 535i for a Diamond Shine detail with a few extras including scratch touch up on a few panels. I dropped the car off at 11:30AM and Earl told me about 4 hours. I texted Earl throughout the whole process continually being told "another hour" I went there at 7:30PM and continued to wait about another hour before finally being able to leave. I assume that this was because he sanded straight through the clear coat on my driver's side front door while attempting to remove a scratch. Clearly he was buying time until it was dark outside so I wouldn't notice, however I quickly noticed the damage they had done to the door. Earl danced around the issue saying his employee did it and told me "Normally I do this type of work but I have to let my employees learn." So he has inexperienced people sanding through clear coat on cars they shouldn't be touching. After some back and forth, Earl agreed to pay to repaint the door and before I left he recommended "Second to None Auto Body" which is a good shop that he had ABSOLUTELY NO INTENTION TO USE. Texting the next couple days, he tried to push me to have the repair done through some of his "friends" none of which had a legitimate reputable shop. Rather than taking it to a BMW approved body shop and having Earl eat the bill, I took it to a friend of mine who works at a legitimate body shop and received a quote of $400 to repaint and blend the door, a very reasonable cost, to which Earl agreed and said his employee who caused the damage would pay the bill. Good boss, huh? Earl has dodged my texts and calls the last 4 days, the car is going to the body shop for the repair tomorrow, and I still do not have any payment from Earl. I'm not worried about it because my attorney will work it out in Small Claims but this has become a lot of headache for BY FAR the least professional nightmare of an experience from Earl and Diamond Pearlz. What a joke. See you in court, bud. read more

If you buy the Groupon as I did- know that there is additional fees if your car is very dirty or has excessive odor. Mine was both. But the car I drive now is a pristinely clean car that I can now invite people into. I can drive my daughter and her friends without embarrassment. That to me is worth the extra cost. We discovered this business on Groupon. Earl did a surprising good job on our car. On first glance, we were a little skeptical about using the business because the owner did not have a visible sign from the street, so it was inconspicuous and appeared a bit shady. We left him our dirty car, and he said we could pick it up on two hours. I thought that he underestimated the time it would take, and he did. It took him an extra hour. But I didn't mind when I saw the job he did. There was a very stubborn stain that he was unable to remove. But all in all I was impressed by his attention to detail. I have never had my car detailed before but the interior of my car needed some serious TLC which I didn't have the time or patience to do. I decided to purchase a groupon for an interior detail. I went to my appointment and came to find the place did not seem to exist. I was a bit annoyed and figured I was getting scammed, but I called just in case and found that there was a new business address. The one on my groupon was incorrect. It still was a little unsettling. I went to the new location and I have to say that Earl did a FANTASTIC job and my Jeep looks BRAND NEW! I never thought it could even look like that again. He gave me a very affordable quote, the lowest I have come across for inside/outside/engine detailing, and he did so on a Sunday with only a 30 minute notice. Detailed the car the very next day. Awesome job and very professional! I had a situation where the front passenger side of my car had flooded due to an air conditioning complication last week. The car dealership that fixed this problem was unwilling to deal with the aftermath of all of the water in my car (even though I had made an appointment), and suggested I call a detailing place. I called Diamond Pearlz and spoke to the owner Earl, who said I could bring it in that day. I did and he looked at it and got to work right away. He also showed me how extensive the flooding damage was, which I appreciated. I'm not really a car person and need a thorough explanation. Earl was very kind and patient with me and my questions and allowed me to leave my mats to dry and reinstalled them the next day. I am now proud to say I know how to take the floor pieces in and out to see if there is anything going on! He did an awesome job and detailed that part of my car for a very good price. Nice interior detail. Cloth seats were covered in dog hair and dirt. The carpeting and seat backings that get hair and grime stuck was clean with no hair left stuck. Definitely would suggest.
