I always pay my rent on the fifth because my lease allows it. Recently I'm informed that I need to mail a check but as long as it was postmarked by the 5th I'm good. Two months of eviction threats since then. Single mom of two, following the rules, and they're going to kick me out if the post office doesn't get it to you? Read The News - US postal service sucks during Covid-19, and it's close to xmas which I would gather creates additional mail. I CAN'T make the post office faster, nor can I drive down to Brookfield. I'm not allowed to move out during winter but they're allowed to kick me and my two kids out over the post office? Maybe if they are so desperate someone could come get my check? Or pay for tracking? Diamond Property Management - Kicking me out because a check didn't get to them before just asking ‍ - Property Management Near Me - Bossier City, Louisiana

No communication! We were moving from Colorado to Louisiana. It would of been nice to know before we moved in the house it needed a deep cleaning and treated for bugs. i would of had no problem paying that and coordinating it before our arrival. The gigantic red wasp nest guarding the door made it difficult to carry everything in. The biggest concern happened after we arrived. A neighbor set a bunch of property on fire and the fire came all the way to the back of the pull barn. The house was unbearable, the haze from the fire and all the toxic chemicals from the oil and tires burning, burned our eyes and made it hard to breath. But we couldnt open any windows none have screens and half were painted shut. The management company knew there was a fire it didnt call or text us! When I called to inform them we needed to open windows to air out the house the lady pretry much told me they would do nothing. No one contacted us with alternatives or at all. They care only about their paycheck, not your life or your health. Didnt even receive a call Monday during business hours to follow up with us. I had to go biy air cleaners myself just to be able to sit in my rental for more than an hour at a time. read more

Worst rental company!!! Look elsewhere!!! First house we rented was infested with mold in the heating/ air ducts!!! (Which they obviously knew about because someone attempted to paint over). This led to health problems for my entire family! Upon this discovery, i rented another home with them due to ease of transferring deposit. When i requested maintance i was told to "do it myself"! Upon moving from the home our security was slighted $700 to paint a hallway and $500 to clean gutters. They are immoral, unethical, and unscrupulous!!!! Stay away!!! read more

This was probably my worst apartment experience. I am a rental agent myself and rent apartments in Madison Wisconsin. First of all, the lady in the office was very nice. The apartment we saw was beautiful. However, we were not allowed to see the actual apartment we would rent. The lease stated that we know and seen that the smoke detector works well I wasn't going to lie and sign off. Something in my gut said something isn't right . I would never rent to anyone who hasn't seen the apartment. Then the lease said snow removal we would be fined if we didn't. Also lawn mowing. Glad I have knowledge of leases it saved us heartache. I was happy with Suzanne, she did offer to help with what that all meant but I know unless it's strikeout we are responsible. I would warn you to look at your apartment well and pay close attention to your lease, don't rush through it. read more

Living in mold for two weeks due to excessive water damage!!!!!!!! This is what happened to me upon relocating to Shreveport, LA. I have been homeless due to this for two weeks and hotel hoping because I am running out of money. Borrowing from friends and family and at the same time I just started my job. I also have a dog that was getting sick in the house as well. The doctor told me that I got him out at just the right time or it could have been worse. I reached out to this property management company and expected them to at least rent a property that was livable and not have major issues that could endanger my health. I am a disabled veteran with 14 years of military service and speaking with the property management personnel, Kim Taylor, she seemed very nice and was willing to work with me. Upon viewing the house everything looked great at first glance. After signing the lease that is when the problems started. I did my checklist and found that the house had severe water damage in the doors of the house. I pointed this out in a face to face with Kim and she told me that they would contact the owner. I left their office and went home and I didn't hear anything else from them in a week. I called back on the 7th of August and they kept telling me the same thing that they were in contact with the owner. So I asked what were my options in regards to the water damage and Kim Taylor told me I had no options and that I signed a year lease and hung the phone up on me. Nobody ever contacted me in regards to these issues. I couldn't deal with the situation then because I was on my way to military training and they were picking up my furniture on Monday and Tuesday. I came back on Wednesday and something told me to look in the windows and there I found excessive water damage in every window seal in the house. At this point the company had not really been speaking about any of the water damage and all they were willing to fix was the stove. This was a problem for me because there was entirely too much water damage in this house. So I sent an email and let them know the issues and that I wanted all my money back. Yes I should have did a better check prior to signing the lease but even if I would have did an extreme check, how many people actually look at the window sills by raising the blinds during a walk through of a house. As well as sent them a certified letter about the issues. I took pictures as well. Once they received the letter then they wanted to talk to me and pushed everything to the owner. This was a problem for me. Amongst everything else. They do not want to give me my money back or let me out the lease so I have to go through this lengthy process and in the mean time due to getting sick with sinus issues in the house I had to move out and move my stuff due to the issues in this house and now I am homeless. Their rental practices are foul and they should not just rent houses because people want to rent them. They should do their due diligence as well as the renter because they are just taking people's money. They should make sure that these house are in suitable living conditions before they rent them. Through all of this I know have proof of the mold. read more

Rented a farm property from Diamond for 1900.00 per month for 3 years. I fixed the broken fencing, repaired the dishwasher, serviced the lawn tractor and had the fields bush hogged regularly. The cost was approximately 3000.00. never put in a complaint and paid on time every month. The well stopped working August 2015 so I called the well company the owner used. I informed Diamond and they insisted on using a plumbing outfit. The plumbers told me they didn't know a thing about fixing wells. They managed to get some water running but the well wasn't fixed. They charged the owner though. We told Diamond the well wasn't fixed but they did nothing. A few months later the water goes off again and this time the owner insisted the well company fix it. They did at more expense. The owner was angry at us for not getting the well company in the first place. Told him Diamond wouldn't comply with that and he felt we should have fixed it at our expense. We were evicted for not cutting the grass the proper length even though we had a service do it. Not a problem we bought our own place. Diamond said if we had the place professionally cleaned they would return our 1900.00 deposit. We did for 600.00. The made up a bogus bill and refused to give us the deposit back. Not a surprise. If you are looking for a property management firm either as a renter or an owner I would consider looking for another one. By the way any time we rented before we always were highly recommended and always received our deposit back. read more

TERRIBLE! I read the other review, and she was totally true that they rush you into signing a lease and leave you with a mess to clean up. I have learned my lesson from this move to ALWAYS walk the house again and make sure it's clean and good to go. I spent DAYS cleaning the house...it was completely filthy! The house was completely filthy and I had to wash ever fixture, scrub all the floors, the mirrors were streaked, the windows were disgusting, and there was drawers FULL of the previous tenants items. It was FAR FROM "Move In Ready"! Also, if you need something completed, it will be weeks and typically you have to keep "reminding" them and emailing them and call them before they will ever respond back with an answer. Typically you will get a reply like "we are still working on it" and that's where the conversation will end and you will never hear about it again. For anyone looking to rent from Diamond Property, make sure you have completely and thoroughly looked over every part of the house. read more

I would find some other property management to deal with vise using them. During my time renting from them I had nothing but issues when it came to anything dealing with the property I leased. Upon doing the walk thru inspection prior to received the keys everything they said that would happen did not at all. The floors were dirty/stained, there were cobwebs in the corners of the room, there was trash sitting in the driveway from when they remodeled a room, gutters were filled full of leaves and sticks, yard wasn't mowed, ect, ect. So first off not a good way to gain someones business, and the trash say for 3 weeks before I said screw it and took care of the trash myself since they did not feel inclined to doing it. I annotated everything on the inspection sheet so they knew didn't stay true to their word. But its not like it mattered to them because they were getting my money and thats all they wanted. Before we moved in the had a company come in and replace the roof.....till the day I moved out I was constantly finding roofing nails in the yard....great good thing my dogs and daughter didn't step on any of them. Every time we had an issue whether it was the actual power line running to the house, the issue with the hot water heater the "maintenance girl" would always cop a attitude and throw the disclaimer that if the technician couldn't find anything wrong the bill was going to use not to Diamond Property Management. Excuse me are you f*&^%$# kidding me that's not how the world works nor did I have anything to do with the issues we had with the home. Then comes to the move out process....or the lack there of, it pissed me off when I went to move out because just like any other house I have rented during my time in the military I called to do a walk out inspection......yeah they don't do that at all. I was told once I turn in my keys the "maintenance girl" will go in the house when she has time to do an inspection. So basically you can pay for a professional carpet cleaner to come thru and do the floors, pay with your own money to fix the so called tenant responsibilities, and have basically a squad of people come and help you clean the whole house white glove inspection ready but they will find a way to f*** you out of your deposit or a good part of it. I am sorry but when you run a business like a whore house and all you care about is money not the people that are renting from you then you are a POS. I even told the staff there in the property management that if they needed me to fix and or clean anything to CALL me. I guess they forgot about that one too. Crooked POS business and I wouldn't waste my time with them. Find a different reality/property management company to go through. read more
