I was told that the charge is for anything under $5.00 and yet I have been charged before with spending over that amount. Today I go in to buy one pack of cigarettes and the owner tells me he is going to wave the fee for me this time? When I asked why he would have to wave the fee he said it is for purchases over $10.00 now? This store is very fishy and has been for a long while. They are still selling meth pipes, bongs (not water pipes), and other paraphernalia that is just not ok when you have children under the age of 18 that go inside to buy soda or candy which is usually out of date and taste stale and nasty. This place should be shut down I do not know how the health department does not know about this but I will be reaching out to them as well. The food is way over priced for what you are buying and there are food items in this store that have dates as old as 2014. I would not recommend going here even for the convenience factor anymore it is not worth it!

Because we're careful shoppers, we've had great luck with a variety of products, especially with things like luxury chocolates (well, for me, Brookside is outside my budget at a regular store, but I love the Dark Chocolate Pomegranate flavor) and recently-past-date chips. They've had a decent selection of gluten free stuff, too, and cereal at $5. for 3 boxes is great, especially when the brands are mainline and pricey ones like Kashi, Cherrios, etc. We're not tea or coffee drinkers, but I've seen Starbucks flavors and other exotic brews all at discounted prices, and they even have the $1. container of mini dried marshmallows that are so great in cocoa and on ice cream. We've been shopping there for just under a year, and the staff (I think most are family?) has always been kind and friendly. We're just so grateful that between McGary's, dollar discount places and thrift stores, we do ok on a fixed income and can even splurge on the occasional bag of Brookside chocolates or mini marshmallows. Some items are expired so if that bothers you, don't waste your time. The place was packed to the brim, I could've spent a couple of hours walking around. I chatted with a few employees and they were all so friendly. To me it's worth the trip, I have my store apps handy to check prices to make sure I'm not getting ripped off. Happy hunting!
