He came in, told me there is nothing wrong with your feet. He recommended New Balance shoes. There is a NB store across street. The 10% off coupon helped a lot. The shoes have basically taken care of the pain. He also wrote a prescription for physical therapy for a month. I didn't go because my feet at much better.

When he is with you, you would think you are the only patient in his practice. He will take the time to answer all your questions without rushing you. I get injections for neck pain, he tells me absolutely everything he's doing before he does it. He also explains what you can expect when he does it (I.e. - this will be cold, this will sting, you're going to feel cramping, etc.) The receptionist at the surgery center is grumpy and doesn't seem to like her job but every other person I have come in contact with has been pleasant and helpful. They're good at remembering names too. Plan ahead when making an appointment, appointment slots fill fast.

I had a very positive impression with Dr. Fisher at first. After some persuasion, he agreed to do a…read morerather complex spine surgery for me to hopefully solve years of pain. I went through all of the testing and processed to prep for the surgery. A week before the scheduled surgery date my insurance company denied the claim. Dr. Fishers assistant told me she was filing an appeal with the insurance company. She said it would take 6-12 months to hear anything back, and also told me not to call for updates, she would call me when she heard something. I called a few times, regardless, to see if there was any progress. Just after the 12 month mark on my final call, Dr. Fishers assistant apologized and told me she had never actually filed the appeal and I had to meet with him again to start the whole process over. When I met with Dr. Fisher he did not accept any responsibility, and told me it was my fault. He said I should have been doing a better job checking in with his assistant throughout that year, and basically washed his hands of the whole thing. I didn't return to see him after this.

They truly make you feel like an important human being who is heard and respected. 2. They don't just instruct you. They Educate you! 3. They don't just give you exercises. They too hold themselves accountable for your recovery and do so in a firm but nurturing manner. 4. They understand the difference between pain and discomfort. They learn about who you are and what you need in order to push you in the right direction. 5. They are collaborative in the most positive ways. 6. They are accommodating and will without a doubt make time for you when you need them. (I have personally had multiple setbacks that just threw us all off guard... but Lauren was there immediately every time to bring me back to life!) 7. They are constantly expanding their knowledge base. I've been going there for a year and every time I talk to Lauren she has learned something new about my condition or wants to try something out to help me. It's an ever changing field and they are moving right along with it if not ahead of it. 8. I have never ever had to wait more than 30 seconds on the phone when calling there. 9. It never ceases to amaze me the fluidity with which they multitask. Yet, their ability to make you feel noticed and cared for is unwavering. 10. There have been days where I really think I'm not going to make it because of my pain, but as soon as I walk through those doors and see those ladies I am already so relieved and it is something I can't imagine ever finding anywhere else. Having a lot of pains, especially back pain and sciatic nerve pain, finally found the best…read morechiropractor service to treat and manage my pain. Dr. Jacob Ross is beyond attentive to detail, focused on diagnosing, and actually explains what he's doing rather than just doing. I've done the whole go to a chiropractor who nods, smiles, say this is will be the best thing ever, cracks my back a bunch, hooks me up to a machine, and asks me to come back tomorrow. It's kind of a joke. And turned me off to chiropractors for a while. But given I have a job where I do incredibly amounts of repetitive lifting, I had really needed the help and lucked out coming across Dr. Ross. He spent a lot of time just getting a better understanding of my own situation and pains. Not just that, but also my scheduling needs (can't exactly drop everything to go to a chiropractor every day!). He figured out a solution to not just treat, but actually cure my problems AND work around my hectic scheduling needs. As for the location, it's well located off Rt 2 (close to the Newark Farmers market), so it's an easy place to stop off while getting other errands done. Very well located from Newark, Wilmington, Pike Creek areas. The actual office is super clean, comfortable, modern, and all around a friendly atmosphere. Anyone feeling apprehensive about their first chiropractic appointment would be really well suited to go here because they'll be super gentle and attentive to your needs.
