I'm happy for them though- Jan says her girls (the alpacas) are loving their new place with all the green pastures. I visited this alpaca farm for my bday with my boyfriend and son. We were able to go into the alpaca yard and hand feed them. They were all so sweet! There were even a few babies! It was a great experience and I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Had such a great time at Diamond Valley Alpacas! Jan was super friendly and even let us in early. We booked our visit a day in advance and paid $15 per person when we arrived. We feed pellets to the alpacas and pet a bunch of them. Jan educated us on where we can safely pet them. There were about 30 alpacas, initially ranging from 14 years old and 4 day old. Until... The most amazing thing happened when we were there. Alpaca Luna gave birth right in front of our eyes! (Fun fact: their births take about 30 minutes and the baby's eyes open immediately and they stand shortly after.) There was also little gift shop with authentic alpaca items. The animals are well cared for and Jan was so kind. She answered all of our questions, didn't rush us, and was very warm and inviting. This was such a great experience. We would definitely do this again and bring our friends next time. read more
