Recently ( about 28 days ago I was billed on 4/14/26 with no receipt. Then again on the 23rd i was billed again with a receipt. I contacted them and asked why i was double billed. They claimed it was a glitch. I was asked if i wanted a reduced rate the next month, not a free month mind you, or a full refund. I chose the full refund. A week went by and no refund, i contacted them again and was told 500 people had been effected and that i was on the list. Its now more than a week later and no refund. I tried calling, all numbers i called go straight to voicemail. DO not rent from any Heritage storage!

The reason is so they can juggle your money . 3 times this year so far. My unit is due on the 23rd of the month yet 3 times this year they have taken it out of my bank as early as the 10th or the 11th than still take it out on the 23rd. They take weeks to refund their so called computer mistake. This month they took the payment out again on the 11th, the so called manager told me on the 12th she refunded the money back to the bank account and was sending me confirmation in email. What she sent was not a confirmation of refund but a receipt for my july payment not the refund for the money they took out on August 11. Than today is the 17th and it shows in my bank account they took another payment out. NOT A REFUND, ANOTHER CHARGE. I KNOW ON THE 23RD THEY WILL TAKE IT OUT AGAIN. I have been down this road serveral times this year with them. Even if they reverse the charges today it takes 5 days to get back in my bank.. Another shady thing they pull is simply don't answer the phone and let it go to a voice mail that is full and they dodge you to buy them more time before they have to refund the money.The only reason she answered my call on the 12th was because I called from a different number than what is listed on my account. You could tell by the sound of her voice that she was shocked that it was from me because it was coming from an out of state number. Unless you can afford to tie up several hundred dollars for weeks above the rent you have to pay for their rat infested units , I recommend trying another place but beware they also own the one on Ruella Ave. so don't go there because I am certain they juggle extra funds from that one also. When you go on line to the Secretary of State to find out who owns this company you find it is registered as a Foreign Limited Liability Company, not an American company which means your money is not even staying in this country and your bank information is also going to a foreign country. Let that sink in good before you decide where to rent a unit. I will be getting my stuff out of here as soon as I can and will cancel my bank card to play safe since a foreign country that already so far this month as taken over $300 out of my account , now has my information.

I stopped him and asked him to slow down and told him that gravel hit my truck. He rolled his eyes and huffed then took off. He made a circle and decided to fly by us again. This time I made a formal complaint to the office because not only was the gravel hitting stuff, but what if someone had their child or someone out there. Instead of apologizing or slowing down or acting like a grown man, he sends me an eviction notice to vacate my storage units immediately. Wow ... what a great human being.
