Went to Di'Amore for an engagement ring very recently. From right when I stepped into Di'Amore, everyone treated me as if I was already part of their family. Monali is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer every single question I had throughout the whole process. Her & her staff really helped me feel comfortable. I went to other Jewelry shops for comparison, as well do, but I felt attacked by pushing salesmen just trying to make a buck. This business deserves no stars. They will continuously lie, add fees, and gaslight you after ruining your jewelry. Long story short, I asked for the broken opal in my Le Vian ring to be replaced with a harder stone with a specific green hue. I also told them I wanted the opal back after it was removed. They agreed. Then they lied about the new stones hardness and didn't even set it straight. When fixing that issue, they scratched the stone and broke the prong. Oh.. and they THREW AWAY my opal. They claimed they would fix it yet again only for me to pick it up cracked with an uneven setting AGAIN. Jay, the owner/jeweler threw his hands and shoulders up (‍) when I asked if this is what I was stuck with. He refuses to give me a refund for the added fee or attempt to fix the ring again. I've never experienced such a deceptive and fraudulent jeweler before in my life. Jay's last words to me where "Why did you have to come here!? There's so many other jewelers!". I hope he's proud of that one (sarcasm). Do not trust this business! read more

As someone who has been dreaming of their wedding since I was a little girl, it was a no brainer that my ring had to be perfect. I went to 3 different jewelers in Houston before I found Monali at Di'Amore! We spoke over the phone and she got to know my taste and what was important to me, as well as our budget. She said she'd pull some loose stones for me to look at when we come to visit the shop. She pulled 5-6 stones and I only liked 3 of them but one particular stone caught my eye, and she was so patient with me! Soon, we moved onto picking the band and she truly made sure all my concerns and ideas were paid attention to. A few weeks later, my beautiful 1.5 carat rose gold oval diamond ring arrived and I absolutely cannot be happier!!!! They're the best! My fiancé got my engagement ring custom made through them and based on the stories, they accommodated every little request or change he wanted. They were patient with him and got the ring to his exact desire! They still do all the cleanings for it as well. I've shopped for jewelry there myself and enjoyed the staff. Abby is so funny and super helpful! I always feel like I'm in good hands with the family who owns the store, Jay and Monali, the father daughter combo know what they are doing and are very passionate. If I could give them a 0 star review, I would. My wife and I met with a sales associate at Di'amore's today; I can't remember her name but she was a mid 30's, heavier-set, blonde-haired woman. My wife explained to the woman that she was wanting to get me a new wedding band because mine no longer fits the way it used to. The woman proceeds to show my wife several different bands and styles etc. etc., doing sales things as one would expect, however, after my wife chose a band style the sales lady proceeded to try to force my wife to get the ring financed (For those of you that are unfamiliar with the process ill explain it to you how the sales woman did: "You just put like a little bit of money down, and pay the rest off. All you need is 10% payment down and a proper photo ID"). It sounds simple enough, but here is the kicker; my wife showed the woman her OFFICIAL UNITED STATES PASSPORT (which by the way is considered an appropriate form of ID when get loans, alcohol, as a form of ID for police, etc. you get the point). The sales woman proceeds to tell my wife that she would be unable to sell the ring to my wife without a proper form of ID, even though she has just seen my wife's passport. The sales woman then proceeds to demean my wife and condescendingly say to her, "well im sorry I can't take that sweety, i'll call the bank for you honey if you need to talk to them sugar." Needless to say she did not explain why the passport wasn't accepted, didn't explain the stores policy, and DID NOT try to make things right with my wife. I know that people in jewelry sales work on commission so it surprises me that this woman didn't just take the quick sale but instead pushed financing and the proceeded to treat my wife poorly. Its sad that my wife was unable to purchase a ring from this TERRIBLE place, because they did have some beautiful products. I refuse to ever take my business here. They may have lost a 300$ sale on a men's wedding band, but they also lost my business; which is terrible news for Di'Amore because I buy my wife thousands of dollars of jewelry every year for birthday's, Christmas, valentines, easter, and our anniversary. THEIR LOSS. Shopper BEWARE! Do Not Go Here! I would rather go to another jewelry that is more expensive but at least caters to their customers like any other sales industry. I think this woman needs to be trained on how to treat people with respect and maybe a manager needs to post that they do not except passports as a photo ID so this never happens again. read more

Take your business elsewhere! Inappropriate up sales and no returns! My now fiancée went in last weekend to look at rings for me. He went with his step father whom the proprietor, Jay, labels a friend of the family. They were "guided" by a team of "experts" to chose a ring for me. During this time it was never emphasized that if the proposal ended poorly or the ring was not a fit to my style that the ring could not be returned. When I went back with them, the day after the purchase, the woman which was their primary sales person rapidly and quite aggressively pulled necklace after necklace out of the cases in an attempt to up sell the family. I couldn't get the necklace off fast enough. The interaction was completely inappropriate and would have never taken place at a sophisticated jeweler... And most certainly not on the day of an engagement. All interactions were delivered with a giant gleaming smile and the contrived high-pitch voice of faux southern hospitality. Once the ring was sized and tried on we determined that it did not reflect our style. Di Amore, specifically Jay the proprietor, refused to return my fiancee's payment. It was 2 days between him picking it out, the proposal and the decision to go with another design with another jeweler. Yes, they will help you pick out a ring. No, they will not respectfully honor a customer's wishes if they don't align with their's even in a matter of a couple days. Additionally, watchout for those up-sells; clearly the staff is working on commission! read more

In fact, I'll extend that- this is the one and only jeweler that has provided such exception service in all of my experiences! Every other place I've gone does not come close to the time, attention to detail, and simply going above and beyond on my ring. I took my wedding ring in to design a better band that fit my ring. I looked at many different jewelers and countless rings when I was getting ready to propose. I ended up going with a private, wholesale jeweler in Dallas and the process was fine. I probably overpaid a little, but by that time I was ready to get a ring that was fitting for my bride-to-be and be done with the exhausting process. Months later, when my then fiancée and I were looking for wedding bands, we discovered Di Amore right here in Waco. As silly as it sounds, I got caught up in the idea that I would find the best engagement ring for her in Dallas and never looked very hard in Waco! We even began our search for wedding bands in Dallas as well. If you'd like to know how that went with a particular "wholesale" jeweler in Dallas called The Diamond Doctor (not where I got her engagement ring) just check out my review of that place. So after our abysmal experience with the business mentioned above, we decided to look around in Waco. We happened upon Di Amore. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and a vibe of genuine southern hospitality. We told them we were looking at wedding bands and they walked through the process with us. Never at any point did we feel any pressure nor did we ever feel like we were being manipulated or cheated. Abbie, Monali, Rachel, and Jay (the owner) were all very hospitable and made the entire process a joy. There was college football on the flatscreen in the corner of the store, they offered us drinks, and even gave us some homemade Indian food! The three girls have been friends and have worked together for years. If you are tired of the feeling when you walk into a jewelry store like you're being competed for or looking into the eyes of sales people and seeing dollar signs then you really need to go to Di Amore. Because everyone that works there are truly close with one another, the atmosphere is extremely familial. It's fun, caring, and genuine. They will treat you like they treat each other and it's a huge breath of fresh air. It's a jewelry store that doesn't feel like a jewelry store. Di Amore is absolutely our jeweler moving forward and if you're in Waco don't even bother looking in Dallas or anywhere else before letting Di Amore show you what they can do. My fiancee and I had looked at rings online for a while before going in to an actual shop so we thought we knew a bit of what we were doing and what we wanted. We picked Di'Amore because it was a local Waco place and it's very important to us that we support local businesses. I was completely blown away by how incredible everyone was in helping us out. We went in together the first time and then I did the rest on my own. We mainly worked with Rachel who was such a blessing. She was excited with us and for us and went completely out of her way to help me through the whole process. They had a huge selection of rings and but we had no problem finding the perfect one. They also worked hard to ensure I received the ring in time and that it was the highest possibly quality. The business as a whole is also just so focused on its customers. The third time I went in to actually get the ring I got to just sit and talk with both the president and owner of the store, simply about life and to hear their story of owning Di'Amore, and I felt very valued and cared for as a customer and person. I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone in Waco! You will not find a better place that has such high quality products and a great care for its customers. P.s. If you like a place to make up things as they go instead of contacting the brand about warranty information this is the store for you! The guy tried to tell me that they don't honor Pandora warranty because they are just a Pandora boutique. It's still Pandora product and it's still covered under the warranty. They've had pandora for a week and he pretty much didnt want to deal with it so he just made up reasons as the conversation went along. As a customer I hate that. Then he said I mean we wouldn't make any money if people brought their broken down jewelry in here wanting to use the warranty. I guess he doesn't know how warranty works? read more

I was referred to Di'Amore by a family member and it is by far the best of the best. I sent them pictures of what I liked and they were able to pick out the perfect diamond and even custom make my ring! My husband lives in Florida so we clearly had faith in Di'Amore. Jay has apparently been in the business for over 20 years in Waco. Since I live in California, I emailed the store and they took care of everything. I sent them pictures of the setting I wanted, but they didn't have the exact piece so they had it custom made for me in platinum. They sent me photos, ring renderings, and video of the diamond I chose. Their service is top notch. Everything from concept to payment was so convenient.
