I was in town visiting family when the battery in my Tag died. I decided to go to Boozer Jewelers because they are an authorized seller of Tag Heuer. When I got my watch back, the back plate was scratched! It looked as if a pair of needle nose pliers were used to remove the plate instead of the proper tool. Now I have stainless steel scratching my wrist every time my watch moves. Get your battery replaced here at your own risk! read more

As a college student it's difficult to trust someone in a town who is constantly trying to profit off the student body. This store has shown me that there are still honest people out there. My past visits have been very good, so good I wanted to write this review. The first time I went was to get my tag fixed because it froze up. My fiancee and I went to Boozers after tirelessly looking at other retail diamond stores. I really wanted a name I could trust. Not just another diamond. I had read several negative online reviews but decided to go in any way. I am ever so glad we did! Initially, we ordered a special band to go with my engagement ring. It came in a short time later but was not going to fit the engagement ring well. A personal message to Mr. Boozer regarding this important piece was well received. Left a high end watch I received as a retirement gift for them to take a look at for consideration of consigning for me. Clerk said they owner would have to take a look at it to see if he would take It for consignment. He said the owner would call me about it. It was there for almost 5 days and no call from the owner. I also left a message mid-week for the owner to call me. Went and picked up my watch today. Decided I didn't want to do business with them if the owner wasn't even going to call me about it. When I picked it up, I asked the clerk if there had been an illness or something in the family to see if that was the reason for the delay. He more or less said there was no illness, but that the owner had busy with athletics (his kids football). Said he really hadn't been there all week. Just had been in and out. The clerk told me that 2 other customers had left bracelets for consignment and that they were still there waiting to be looked at by the owner. Pretty poor way of doing business in my opinion. I bought a 1970's model rolex for 1400 a few years back from ebay and took it to Boozer and Weaver to have it appraised. They were wonderful! So naturally, when my rolex stopped working last week I went back and talk with the young ladies at boozer. They told me they'd call with a quote. They did. $1200! I told them no way and I'll be up there in a couple days to pick it up. When I got there, I expected them to haggle a bit to get my business. Instead, I was handed my watch and she walked away. I went down the street to Bryan's watch repair on valley mills dr across from Baris and he told me $225! Boozer shame on you for trying to overprice sooo much! When people are hurting this much, you should be more compassionate! read more
