This office is also highly disorganized, I've asked them countless times to change my pharmacy (and they never do). My first bad experience here occurred when I went in for my 20 week ultrasound. A staff member was very rude when they couldn't find my baby via ultrasound. When I was in labor, a staff member yelled at me for notifying the office that I was on the way to the hospital, even though Dr.Powell had instructed me to do so. I had other health issues that went ignored. Find another place if you value yourself. You wont find respectful treatment here from Dr.Powell and her staff.

Issue #1 - After my visit with Dr Pugmire (Royal Oak Office) at Women's Excellence they billed my…read moreinsurance company, Cigna Health, with an invalid address and invalid tax ID. I paid the $142.35 to Women's Excellence unknowingly and thought I was paying towards my deductible. When I met my deductible and out of pocket with Cigna Health in early spring I received 3 other bills from Women's Excellence. I called the insurance company to get an understanding of the issue as I should not have any more in-network medical bills for the remaining year. Cigna informed me that Women's Excellence provides an invalid mail address and tax ID. I worked with Women's Excellence to resolve the issue with 3 of the bills I received but the 4th bill, the original one, I paid was not resolved. I am owed $142.35. I have been trying to work with Women's Excellence with this issue for months now and not making any progress. When I call I either get voice mail and no one returns my calls or when I actually do speak to someone I only get "we are working on it." Excuse after excuse. I also worked with a company that has a partnership with Cigan Health called Zellis and they too are not able to get ahold of anyone for help at Women's Excellence. Issue #2 - I submitted a payment thru a company called InstaMed for $25 to be applied to my acct. It was never applied to my acct but it was cashed by Women's Excellence. I'm also seeking to get my $25 back as well. InstaMed also has called to try to speak to someone with no response back. I would recommend going elsewhere to save yourself all the headache.

We had a bit of a hiccup towards the end of my pregnancy with my insurance and Devon went above and beyond to make sure I was seen. After having a nasty fall it was crucial I was seen and she made it happen. On the night I had my girl, I didn't have Devon but I had Anthony deliver my baby girl. I am so thankful for this team. Anthony made my experience fun and enjoyable even through all the pain I was in. I will forever be thankful for this team especially with how smooth my delivery went. I've been a patient of Dr. Shadigian's for several years now. I was introduced to Dr. Shadigian by my partner several years ago. My partner did extensive research into doctors in area when she was searching for a primary care doctor/GYN and finally decided to visit Dr. Shadigian for an annual physical/GYN exam. She had a great experience, and recommended that I see her. I am so glad I did. Dr. Shadigian has greatly increased my health and quality of life the last several years. It should say it all that I drive half-way across the country (NY - MI) at least once each year to have Dr. Shadigian conduct my annual physical/GYN exam, she's that great. We also stay in touch with phone appointments and tests to adjust medications in between, as necessary. Dr. Shadigian is committed to ensuring her patients are not only healthy, but happy. She really cares about patient comfort and overall wellness. To cite only one recent example out of many, I called her office on a holiday with a minor/irritating health issue, and asked if she could please consult with me and call in a prescription if necessary to alleviate my discomfort. She was super busy that day but made time to call me back that evening (9 p.m. on a holiday--how many doctors will do that for you?), discuss the issue, and call in the prescription for me before the pharmacy closed. The WomanSafeHealth facility itself is also wonderful, comfortable, clean, safe and inviting. It's designed to create an atmosphere conducive to healing and reduce stress, decorated with beautiful light wood, calming decor (e.g. zen rock garden), free WiFi, and a fridge that is always stocked with healthy and delicious foods. It's like no other physician's office I've been to, more like a nice day spa than a traditional "doctor's office." In sum, I highly recommend Dr. Shadigian and WomanSafeHealth. 5 stars for sure.

My second pregnancy I was cared for by certified nurse midwife Erin Siminski. I had issues throughout my entire pregnancy and Erin was there for me from day one until she delivered my daughter. So I ran out of sertraline and had to just quit. I would think they would understand what that can do to someone. I was shocked that a doctor's office would do that. I finally switched to a new OBGYN elsewhere and received answers and a treatment plan at my very first appointment. I didn't realize how poor the care here was until I experienced much better care elsewhere. Leaving was the best decision I made.
