When the water was literally all over the dance floor, restrooms weren't available, people were slipping , my guest had to leave because there was no restrooms, the contract said for 200 people and only 160 were there and he wanted to say it was more than 200 people. He started yelling at everyone, my big day was ruined and I didn't even get my deposit back. We payed for security and he never showed up, he won't give me my money back, he was algo grabbing a lot of my desserts when it clearly said closed and he wasn't invited. He was also there almost in all of my party, taking pictures and took pictures of my husband and I which was a little weird but whatever, I have MANY more things to say, I don't understand how this place is still running.

The problem with that answer is that I was checking out the next morning. I also asked if I could switch rooms in case the issue was specific to my room, but apparently that was not an option either. So the solution to having no usable Wi-Fi was basically: wait until after my stay is over. Technical problems happen. What made this frustrating was the complete lack of problem-solving or urgency. For a hotel in 2026, reliable Wi-Fi should not be this difficult to address. Definitely not a Hyatt property I would choose again.

It has a shabby chic vibe, heavy on the "chic" as there are beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceilings and gorgeous gauzey drapes. It's counterbalanced with the bit of (still upscale) "shabby" aspects in the reclaimed wooden pieces, exposed bits of brick in the walls, concrete floor, and wooden barn doors. Moss offers an entire room full of jars, candle holders, decor pieces, and other accent items you can use for your event, so definitely do not sleep on that aspect of their venue, too. We visited Moss Denver in Autumn so the greenery that you'll see on the grounds was not yet alive and blooming, so consider that if you visit during the winter or fall months. I'm sure the blooms of Summer or Spring add a whole other aspect of the natural ambiance! Aside from the moss, greenery, and chandeleirs, etc - Moss is mostly an empty slate. So you can bring your own design and personal touches to your event pretty easily, which is so great in a venue when you don't want a cookie cutter look. So I recommend definitely at least checking out Moss Denver as an option for weddings, corporate events, reunions, or any other event that needs a nice, pretty malleable space that will work for most any event needs.

We began working with Savanna, which is a big reason why we booked the venue after meeting with her. I don't know where to begin with Macey. I understand she was newish at the time and maybe even was going through some personal issues. She was not only unresponsive and annoyed that I contacted her more than a couple of times but on top of that very rude to both myself and my family. Countless items that we agreed upon in the beginning of planning did not come through, and we were charged for two items we didn't receive on wedding day. We had previously agreed that we could leave the items there until 1pm. Upon arriving I had asked Macey why this needed to be done right now, her response: "well, I need to use my office don't I". Macey does not care about you or your event, she just wants your payment and quantity trumps quality.
