Having two kids is life changing, but I love it so much! This review is for Andrea and Kuzu (Kuzu) no longer works there. I was able to see Modus through my (Kaiser) insurance at the time and I went only for fertility support during my rainbow journey. Since my pregnancy journey is over and I have two rainbow miracle babies, I am ready to share my short story. I have been pregnant 5X, lost 3, and gave birth to one rainbow girl in 2012 and one rainbow boy in 2019! With my last pregnancy, I was a nervous wreck and I didn't want to pay for IVF so I did my research. My neighbor suggested acupuncture as she struggled with m/c too and she had a successful pregnancy so I took her advice! Being an older mommy at 40, I was high risk and considered a geriatrics mom at Kaiser. I was lucky enough to be referred to an amazing RE, Dr. Rosenkratz @ Kaiser, and loved him so much!! I was so lucky to have seen him as it was perfect timing cause he left Kaiser and started his own practice a couple mothers after I got pregnant. As I mentioned, I was a nervous wreck! He really changed my world on top of Andrea and Kuzu. I really owe it to them as they were my wingman support team for my 2nd pregnancy. Prior to getting pregnant, Andrea suggested for me to try the "Whole 30 program" and I must have been super fertile cause I got pregnant at the end of the Whole 30 program. With RE, I had 5 polyps removed from my uterus, started to take supplements, and within 2 cycles I got pregnant and had a successful pregnancy. I stopped seeing Modus after my 2nd trimester. I was a nervous wreck the whole pregnancy but wanted to thank Andrea and Kuzu from the bottom of my heart for being my support team when I felt truly scared my whole entire pregnancy! I didn't feel at ease until I was able to carry my baby boy in my arms after he was born. I am truly blessed and my life is full of joy with a dream that came true! After several nights in a row of especially bad sleep and worse body positioning, I developed severe soreness in my neck and across my back. Typically this type of pain subsides after a day or so but this time around it got progressively worse over the next weeks. My girlfriend, a friend of Dr. Allison and his family, recommended that I schedule an appointment with Wellness Center of Franklin. I called and booked an appointment for later that week. Dr. Allison could not have more kind when receiving me, and immediately began asking questions about my pain, chiropractic history (I had none), and aspects of my day-to-day lifestyle that could affect my chiropractic health. He then subjected me to the full slate of diagnostic tests, including x-rays, which revealed some abnormalities in my neck/spine. After the initial comprehensive diagnostics, Dr. Allison gave me my first adjustment and neck stimulating therapy that very day, and I left his office already feeling better. Dr. Allison suggested I see him three times a week over the next month. Having never received chiropractic treatment in the past, twelve visits seemed at first like overkill. However, with his combination of repeated adjustments and rotation of heat, electro-stimulant, and roller-table therapy, I soon learned that the "extra" care and attention were necessary to a safe, steady, and incremental recovery. After those twelve visits I felt no more pain and was able to sleep better and move throughout my days without discomfort. Before visiting Wellness Center of Franklin, I was decidedly apprehensive about the value of chiropractic care. Now I'm a believer, and my only regret is not having sought out Dr. Allison years ago! This business "rubbed me the wrong way". I purchased a Groupon that was to include an exam,…read morex-rays, diagnosis, and a deep tissue massage. When I called to schedule the appointment, they required an immediate redemption of the coupon instead of redeeming at the time of service,. I was advised all three services had to be at different visits. I was able to negotiate the "diagnosis" and deep tissue massage both in one visit; however, they made it seem like this was a terrible inconvenience. When I arrived for the first appointment, the greeting was " I'll need to have your insurance card". I refused to provide, because I was there primarily for the deep tissue massage and my insurance doesn't cover that. The office team had a major discussion about what to do with that response and relented, though, the next obstacle was completing their six pages of intake forms. The forms were clearly for people that had chiropractic needs. I had never been to a chiropractor before, and, have never had back or neck pain, so this was another annoyance.. I completed the forms To indicate I had no pain. I'm not sure what a chiropractic exam looks like, But, I don't think I got one.Dr. Quinn; however, was able to interpret by the x-rays that I'm very close to requiring surgery and had the top five worst spines he's ever seen. Bones were almost fused together, my fingers and hands should've been numb, major arthritis and traumatic injuries were revealed from his perspective. I've been very blessed to never have any symptoms while being such a mess. He estimated it would take about 42 months of weekly visits to stop the progression. When I asked for copies of the x-rays or if I could just take a picture of them, he refused and said I must pay for those. Also, he refused to write down anything he was saying because, that would take an hour and a half to devise a "treatment plan". Silly me, I thought the Groupon included exam, x-rays, diagnosis, and deep tissue massage. Apparently, he feels the payment is for him to keep the x-rays and diagnosis to himself. The deep tissue massage was good quality. Dr. Quinn may be very competent, but, I wouldn't entrust him with my healthcare based on his greed, and scare tactics. He would be well served to encourage his patients that have such significant findings requiring extensive treatment, to get a second opinion. Probably, even from an orthopedic doctor that specializes in spines, etc. Instead, he was arrogant.
