I loved this place and they always did amazing on my nails, but I can't go back anymore after my horrible experience and the horrible response afterward. Last time I went, Kathy did my nails. The whole time I felt like she was very judgy about what I was requesting for nail designs and such. Despite this, I still went back because I was raised to believe in second chances and I really did enjoy how my nails looked afterward. I went in to get nails done for my birthday and everything was great, however everything went south very fast. I am already very anxious because this was my first time ever getting my nails done alone, so this just added to the experience. The lady doing my nails had stuff on her finger I assumed were scabs. I brushed this off originally because I thought it'd be okay- but when she was painting my nails, I'd noticed a SCAB fell off ON MY NAIL. She originally was gonna paint over it until I commented about it. She thought I was talking about the polish, but when I pointed to the scab she just laughed it off and took it off the brush and wiped it onto the back of the machine that dries your polish. Everything was awful after that. I felt so anxious to talk and tried to just sit through it all. I didn't know what to say! This was my first time ever getting my nails done alone! The response from the manager was awful too. I called in to speak with her about my experience after I got home. It was a lot of back and forth about who, what, where, when, why. The only thing she offered was to give the tip (yes- I still tipped!) back. I will never be going back here again. This was such a horrible and unhygienic experience, and the response back from the manager really made my decision to never come back.

Let's start with the reviews that indicate good quality service. We shouldn't trust those, because…read morebefore we even began the service she said she'd like me to review the service before I left, because people tend to forget after they leave. Obviously, with the owner over your shoulder you won't review poorly. After my service, she didn't follow up on that. But I'll explain why. We start with her showing up late by roughly 5-10 minutes. Not a huge deal, but she texts me asking where I am and to approach her suite. I walk in, and her colleague was doing someone's lashes and looks at me annoyed. I'm outside the door confused and eventually she finally comes up. We sit in the next door room making chit-chat. She gives me a pamphlet, shares deals, and tells me about leaving a review as mentioned earlier. I bring up my Groupon, and she acknowledges it using her system. Weirdly, she asks me if I'd like to leave a tip. Before service started. I said no thanks, I brought cash for after and she seemed frustrated. Odd, but we move on. In this side room, we begin treatment. Important to note that there's no bed. She suggests I rest my feet on the wall so my head can lean back on the chair head. This is a hair-cutting chair so it was very low, not intended for this position, and my back hurt. We begin, and it's uncomfortable. Her colleague and her client leave, and with the perming solution on she asks if I'm ok in the chair with my feet on the wall or if I'd like to lay on the table. I prefer table because my back is sore, but I begin to stumble as my eyes are covered with perm solution and to see I have to open my eyes. My eyes burned SO bad for the rest of the service. One eye had to be totally undone, so as to rinse it out. She stated several times "I don't know why this is happening." I've had lash lift before and never hurt this bad. And then apologized saying "I shouldn't have moved you." Finally finish and she doesn't offer a mirror. First time I've never been offered a mirror and had to ask to see my results, and it was obvious why when I found one. One eye had curly, spriggly lashes and the other had obviously shorter sections in the center of the eye. When asked if some of my lash broke, she just said "no breakage, I just came in with shedding." She apologized for "everything" and didn't follow up on the cash tip I mentioned or the review she initially requested. Not worth Groupon, coming from someone who's received many lash lifts before.
