The reason I am glad…read moreto be here is that I am having my consult for an endoscopy that puts me one step closer to weight loss surgery (there's a LOT of steps and this is one). Additionally, I am here to be screened for colon cancer after 2 of my friends under 40 have been diagnosed in the last 18 months. Can't be too careful. Scheduling was a mixed bag... the wait to talk to someone after you push the right button was kind of long, but I feel like if you know that going into it, it's ok because you can be prepared to wait. Once I did get on the phone with them, scheduling was painless and quick. They asked questions actually wanted to know WHY I was scheduling - not expecting me to know, since I am not a medical professional - and making sure they set me up with the right kind of provider. I initially was scheduled next month, but I called again to see if there was a sooner opening and there was! So, they set me up with that. They also made sure I knew how to get here. Getting parked and into the building was easy - suite 330, so regardless of which side of 2202 you park on, just grab the elevator or stairs to the third floor and follow the signs! Getting checked in as a new patient was surprisingly smooth. They mailed me my paperwork ahead of time, so having that done, I was checked in and waiting in plenty of time for my appointment. Will update on quality of care once I've met with my PA and scheduled with a doctor for a procedure.

However, it is almost impossible to make an exam appointment here. I received an appointment call which I missed. I tried to call back and no one would answer. I called for several days and just put on indefinite hold. When I finally got someone to schedule my G.I. Exam they said I needed a cardiologist clearance first. I show up at 7:44am, sit down as there is no receptionist. Lady opens the door, says oh, I didn't see you, it's now 7:46am, she says your one minute late and you have to reschedule! I was like your kidding right, I was a minute before the 5 minute , we argue about the one minute time difference! She calls the police! I was in my truck leaving, Police show up, Police said are leaving, I said yes and left!! Are you kidding me! I hope the dr who i was going to see understands that he lost a paying patient because of his receptionist, and Fransican lost a patient as well! What a joke!
