They took the time to show us different design options and finishes, as well as photos of other similar projects, so they had a clear picture of what to draw up for us. As construction began, Bob, Angie, and their son Eric continuously worked with us and offered their expertise and advice to help us make the best decisions possible for our project, tweaking things along the way when they saw a better option. They worked through our ideas and questions with an open mind and we always felt heard by them. We shopped the chain and specialty furniture stores and didn't find anything that had the quality of wood, workmanship or interesting style that we wanted. We looked into custom cabinetry and after reviewing several companies went with TaylorMade because of the quality of their customer samples. Bob and Angie worked with us to design the piece, providing 3-D renderings to confirm the "look and feel". No aspect was too small to be considered, from the interior clearances to the exterior details such as fluting, raised panel thickness, router styles or ventilation slots. We came up with a stained cherry design with center speaker shelf, protruding media area with smoked glass doors, and self-closing storage doors and drawers. Bob Taylor is a true craftsman, and his team make exceptional pieces. The workmanship is outstanding, truly flawless construction and finish. We couldn't be more pleased with Bob and company's work and recommend them highly to anyone looking for fine quality cabinetry.

Highly recommend! It was my first time doing floors (putting in wood laminate floors). My dad had…read moreoriginally found a different floor guy but when they said they wanted to delay the job, I turned to Yelp and I'm so glad I did because I found J&M! Within minutes of putting out the Yelp request, Jimmy messaged back immediately with a quote after requesting a few more pieces of info and then offered to come see the home the next morning. Keep in mind this was late at night after our original floor guy fell through. I told him I did not want any more delays and wanted the job to be done in one day. Jimmy promised that and when he came to see the home, we agreed upon a great price. The day after, he brought a crew of 4 other men to the house early in the AM (30 min earlier than they said they would!) and worked for 8 hours straight! And the whole house was done, just as he promised (about 1000 sq ft). They were incredibly efficient and professional. We were very pleased with the outcome, although we did notice that certain parts of the trim were not adhered well so we had to patch that up afterwards. Other slight things were that they did not bring a broom or any cleaning things, which I found odd considering that these sorts of jobs are very messy. All in all, professional, efficient, hardworking, and very competitive pricing. It was great working with them!

They communicated well with me when quoting, before, and during the cleaning. I also liked that they were friendly and considerate, using an ask first approach when unsure about something. With my limited Spanish, I could understand them conversing about being careful with certain items. I'm happy to be J&M's first Yelp review and I'm glad their nascent presence on Yelp didn't sway me. I hope they get much more business soon.
